Okay, after I saw this, I can keep quiet about Headknockers no more...

Transformers Headknockers

I've seen Headknockers all over the place, based on a wide variety of characters: Brady Bunch, Terminator, Monster Cereal Characters, CHiPs, Evil Dead Ash, Freddy Krueger, the Care Bears... for God's sake, the list goes ON AND ON!!! And now, chalk up Optimus Prime and Megatron to the list! So does anybody collect Headknockers? If so, what is their appeal? What do you do with them?

I suppose somebody could ask the same about my action figures, so here's my reply in advance: I play with them and put them in cool dioramas! I can't think of a thing I would do with Headknockers... put them in my car, maybe? I dunno... :D

I hate bobbleheads.... even though these are in the Transformer likeness, I still hate them. You can't do ANYTHING with them. What they hell do the expect you to do with bobbleheads? Put them on your dashboard? Bleh

Man, those looked pretty lame. but who am i to talk?
I actually own an Ash (Army Of Darkness) bobblehead. "why?" is a very good question. first of all, AOD is one of my favorite films of all times and Bruce Campbell is awesome. So my Ash bobblehead sits on the tv admist the other AOD stuff i have. secondly, i am a huge fan of caricatures. i love em and think they can be really awesome. and a big head on a little body is the classic caricature formula. and while many of these "head knockers" "wobbleheads" "bobbleheads" are very lame looking and unbalanced, i think the Ash one is pretty well done. basically it gives me a little chuckle when i see it.
its pretty funny, but that is just me.

I love AOD too dude, I haven't seen the Ash one, post a pic. I don't collect these either, or transformers for that matter but I'd be interested in some kinnikuman bobble head thingies.

Okay, Doc Dew, those are some pretty good points. I understand where you're coming from.

But how can anyone explain this?!

William Shatner Priceline.com Bobblehead

There is NO excuse for that monstrocity to be made! What is happening to fandom that such atrocities are embraced?! The apocalypse is upon us!

holeeee crap!
some things, like the concept of "bathing daily", just mystify me. I don't get it. i think Nathan's right and the apocalypse IS upon us. but everyone should at least click on the link and go check out Shatner's bobblehead. it is ridiculous.

in fact, it is so ridiculous, i want to buy one..... no TEN of them!!!!
ahhhahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..... :woot:

I like bobble heads, but only to a certain extent. The only two I have that aren't baseball characters are Count Chocula and Frankenberry. (Those of you who know about my other online pursuits will understand why.) I agree though that they're really going overboard. I mean come on... Bill Shatner?...Anna Nicole?!!? My sport bobble heads that grace my shelf are ceramic and hand painted. The new mass produced plastic crap looks awful. Just goes to show.... people will buy anything if someone tells them it's collectible.
