Do you guys display your MIMPS or keep them bagged up? As I'm new to collecting I've got all my series 1 and series 2 sculpts on display (sold/selling my other series), however, my fiancée's patience is running out fast! Thinking of buying some plastic re-sealable bags to put each colour type in just in case I take them off display. :wallbash:

I display very few of the things I collect (LRGs and die-cast cars), because I don't want them to get sun-faded or damaged by my pets. If I can find a UV-resistant, pet-proof solution, that will change. My M.U.S.C.L.E. are all in Zip-Loc bags; I have 200+ (as of this posting) in one of the big ones.

Current collecting goal: obtain all 148 Monster In My Pocket Series 1 figures in regular colors (71.62% there)

So many toys, so little money!

I want to display mine in curio cabinets in a secluded room away from the sun. But for now they are in many ziplocs inside several plastic bins. Ah dreams.

Agreed, I'd love a room to display my MIMP plus my many other collectables. Think I'll have a browse on good old eBay for those plastic bags, just need to decide on a good size.

I personally prefer the 2 gallon ziploc sliders for mine. They aren't totally airtight (which is good in some temperatures) but are easy to open and hold a lot of figures. Then I put any that need to stay separate in little snack size ziplocs.

Mine unfortunatly are mostly in boxes stored away, like yourself my wife aint too keen on my hobby, I did get rid of a load of my mimp a while back but still have one of each figure of series 1 & 2 (motly uncommon or premium colours) in the monster mountain packet they got sold in. Plus a few other things but hopefully when my daughter get a bit older maybe she'll appreciate my hobby & get her on my side ;)

Same as Daxel my misses doesn't share my hobby, but both my kids do so our house is littered with little rubber monsters :biggrin2:
My rare figures are in air tight boxes in separate colours to prevent colour transfer. I want to get few of them collection boxes to put some of them in but they go for silly money, and don't need the figures

I'm starting to notice a trend that wives/girlfriends aren't great fans of the MIMP collecting hobby :starwars: That leads me to wonder, are there any female collectors within this forum??
