Keep most in bags but have a select few on display.
Behemoths stretch along mantle piece. Monster Mountain
on the wall with Black/Gold figures. A couple of odd
figures on top of my stereo: painted Ghost, Abominable
Snowman, custom Coatlicues.

I think it's nice to have a rotation of figures on display,
keep it fresh! Figures on display are also excellent
eye candy for random visitors.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to collect all the Behemoth variations? He's my fav as well (as my screen name makes obvious).

I just got done doing this.

I am going to try to get an extra set, paint them gold and then set this on a ply board wall-mount with lights behind it so that I can turn it on during the night. I have the two extra slots because now that I know they will fit I am going to get more and add series two below it. I already own series 2 from when I was a kid so yeah.

I saw it mentioned once but if you didn't catch it be careful when storing them in plastic bags some colors can stain, yellow is really bad. Just to be safe I have my few M.I.M.P.s bagged by color.

Where did you buy these display units from and are they deep enough to get more than one future in one behind the other? Liking the look of these.

Do you mean will they fit two figures?

It depends on the figure, getting the damned ogre and gremlin to fit was a total bee-eye-itch. Youve got about a 2 inch base. I got them from Amazon. They're for displaying lego mini figures.

Cool, I've checked them out but can't find exactly the same. I'll keep an eye out though.

I have my favourite Figures on diplay(Seris 1+3) while all others are stored away in bags.
Some diplayed figures are in Monster Mountains but most in a Cabinet behind glass. Away from Sunlight ect.

Just recently I was thinking how cool it would be if there would have been a small resized Monster Mountain for the Peruvian sized Mimp :) They look so lost in the huge standing areas of a Monster Mountain. I don`t know how to display them so far.

Leviathan! It never occurred to me to do that! Excellent idea
having a mini Monster Mountain to store Peru figures. I am so
going to make one.

:) You going to make one like your big one? I´d also like one ;)
Can you provide a complete list of the correct peru numbering of how they would stand inside the mountain? I still need about 10 sculpts that I don`t know the numbers from...

Sure, I would make it using the same techniques. Attached photograph
of the Peru figures in my larger mountain. What size do you think
the box should be for optimal space around the figure? I think the
Spring-heeled Jack takes up the most room out of the Peru figures.

I just took a quick photograph of the Peru cards again in order,
I am missing one, Bigfoot. I hope that helps. It is strange that
the 25 point Monsters are split up and some of the lower points
appear towards the end like the Matchbox release.

Congratulations on only needing 10 sculpts now! As mentioned before
not bought any in a long time. So still need the Bigfoot, Beast and
Hunchback for the complete set.

Those Lego mini-figure display cases just might work. I know that Legos, at least the older ones, will fade badly if exposed to the sun long enough, so I'd think they're sufficiently UV-resistant. Unfortunately, a main advantage of Zip-Loc bags is that they're a lot cheaper than display cases.

Thank you very much for the list/cards! I´m going to set up my figures in this order, probably.

I don`t know, think the space should be very small, just so that the figures fit inside well. S-H-J seems to be the broadest while Ghost sets the height?
I´m looking forward to your Mini Mountain! Maybe I get myself up to also do one. I just would like mine to fit well with my larger ones so he has to be painted black and I consider doing some plaster or somewhat around the Mountain to get that Volcano style.

Good point about the height of the Ghost! I will experiment with
some designs. Sure, I will show you if I get a complete model.
I would be happy to make one for you if the result is something
you would like to own and we could work out payment or trade.

Although that plastering of a mountain texture sounds fun!
Keep you posted.

Seeing as I started this thread I think it's only fair I show you what I've got so far and how I display them. Please remember I'm a new collector, so don't expect anything amazing. However, I'm proud of what I've got so far.

Also want to say a big thanks to Ericnilla and keywolf who have sold me models this week - they may recognise them on my display. :thanks:

Hey Darryl,

I haven't compared side by side but i think the height of the skeleton with his raised hand would be a consideration as well as my pink fig is pretty tall compared to the others. :)

I do not have a vintage peru skeleton but be also sure to use the vintage figs for the size refferences. The new figs are slightly smaller. Not sure about some models like Bigfoot tough.

Today I completed my new Monster Mountain to house the Peru figures.
Thanks for the pointers Leviathan and 1313.

It wasn't smooth sailing as some of the bays came out a few millimeters
smaller but I don't think it is too noticeable. One of the perils or
charms of working by hand.

What do you think?
