great post. i did see those mettalo cards on the preziosi website a while ago. the scan of the toys r us ad is awesome. i think the greatest reason is the two exclusive sets there, the one with all the lords and the one with the pouch and cards. gives us american collectors something to hope for when they finally release here in the united states. everyone take note, toys r us has done exclusives with this line, keep an eye out next year when they land.

EDIT: btw, where did you get this scan? is it a poster, or a fold up sheet that came in a play set?

It makes me happy that it has served the information :D .

The scan that you say is not a poster, is a small paper that was inside the bundle of collection "Mini magnetically Gormiti":

Bundle of "Gormiti Battle Cards Game" that was inside the bundle of collection "Mini magnetically Gormiti":

Hello Yugirama and thanks for all the neat Gormiti info from Spain! I do have a question, though. You said that in Spain, the series have gone up to Atomic, which fits what the UK has gotten so far and what will be released in the US. However, it looks like you didn't get the Italian Series 1 but the Energheia series, same as the UK.

So, what do the Mystica figures look like? With the possible exception of Italian magazine exclusives, Energheia sculpts have never been released in Mystica colors, only the original Series 1. I'm very curious to see what they actually are! Thanks.

In Spain there are:

Series 1
Series 2
Series 3
Mythos
Mystica
Final Evolution
Atomic
Energheia Series (Reedition of Series 1 with the card in italian language)
Gormiti Eggs (Mini gormitis of the second series, the only difference is that they have parts that they shine in the darkness. They are smaller than those of the second series).
Gormiti Gashapon
Gormiti Playsets
Gormiti Mini - Magnetically (It includes 5 combat cards).

Ah, in that case, never mind. I thought that Spain might have been on a track similar to what the UK, the US, and maybe some other European countries are getting. Instead, it looks like you've been getting Gormiti for a much longer time and the releases are based on the Italian releases, so Mystica would be exactly the same as in Italy. Thanks.

So this was some of the stuff I picked up when I was over there:

Clockwise from left we have a box of Metallicards; two Gormiti ice cream tubs (manufactured by Spanish ice cream firm Royne) with chocolate eggs; a Serie III bubble blower; a spherical Gormiti jigsaw "Puzzleball"; an older bubble blower; and two plastic Gormiti eggs.

The Puzzleball is really rather cool. These are made by Ravensburger, and there are four diferent models (I bought all of them) each featuring two characters from Serie III:

You might be thinking that the eggs (plastic and chocolate) contained Mini Gormiti. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to find they contained metal dog tag-style keyrings that I had never seen before, from two different series:

There was plenty of stuff I didn't buy; a Gormiti "tattoo" machine, some ordinary jigsaw puzzles (looked kinda lame after I'd got the 3D efforts), a child's scooter, roller blades. There was also a whole series of inflatables. I passed on the waterwings, lilo and dinghy, but I did get the rubber ring!

At Alicante airport before departure I borrowed an extra 10 Euros from my girlfriend to buy yet more chocolate eggs, again different to the ones I'd bought earlier:

They are currently sitting in my fridge waiting to be consumed. I will be sure to let you know what they contain ^_^
