This goes out to all the Sunshine lovers out there. Which version of Sunshine is your favorite(excluding customs like the 6 armed Ashurashine etc)? Just the original 80's M.U.S.C.L.E. versions. My personal pick is the "top" version that I've dubbed Spinshine :D because he can...well...spin. What's your favorite?

Not a Sunshine lover, perse, but I think that gimmick on the black hole sunshine is neat.

15 is my favorite. I really want to try making a chocolate version as described in another thread.

3 is my second favorite. Having grown up with only the M.U.S.C.L.E. version, it's hard for me to reconcile that Sunshine doesn't appear to be very nice in the original story. As others have said, the toys look so friendly.

Yeah...Sunshine 3 is very friendly looking. He has that big smile and is waving :BHS:  Until I knew about him in the story, I always assumed he was a good guy. Little did we know that nice guy act was just that, a ruse to lure his opponents off guard e+

my favorite is the #221 I've had since I was a kid. has two warps in it, but can still stand. considering that one leg is almost horizontal, its quite finicky.

I guess my favorite three would the Arch, Top, Waving.

Ironically the most friendly, waving one is the Cursed Roller version.

You can see the move at 6:04 of this video

https://youtu.be/KXX457wyYWE?t=364

You can see regular Sunshine's L3 super where he transforms into the top, pyramid, and arch at 1:16.   In Ultimate Muscle for Gamecube that one is called Gate of Darkness rather than Blockin' Rockin.'

There's also a couple Ultimate Muscle versions.   The regular one I've only seen in a picture and doesn't look so great.   The other is withered and old wearing a trench coat, since he's ashamed his grid lines are no longer straight.   Here he can be seen in the background dealing some stuff.

Spoiler

The arch has become the favorite. When I dumped out a shoebox full of m.u.s.c.l.e. in front of my then six month old daughter, that one seemed to catch her attention the most. Luckily it is also the least likely m.u.s.c.l.e. to pose a choking hazard. (I pulled out all the Mitos) And I had two of them so she has her own now. Her first M.U.S.C.L.E.! I have always liked the skinnier sunshine sculpt too. Although it could never compare to the sentimental place I have for Sunshine arch.

Something funny a little bit ago.   I was cleaning my last 66 of hundreds of MUSCLE while listening to Nine Inch Nails' double album, The Fragile.   Track 8 of the right disc is playing while I'm scrubbing a jolly waving cursed roller Sunshine and I hear the line, "the smell of Sunshine...."

Mangler, that's a great profile pic with Rollerman in front of industrial rollers.   The name Mito is result of them trying to make the English word Meat with katakana,   Meat (A)'s shirt says Niku which is Japanese for Meat.

I love Glo-Bones, but he's still not quite as cool as this guy:

I remember seeing those Tyco 'Pocket Power' (snicker) sets in a big clearance bin at Newberry's for the longest time.  .79 each, as I recall.  Best store ever; first time I saw M.U.S.C.L.E., Blackstar, Mossman, Eagle Force, and numerous other favorites....

I'd like to see a picture of that!   Does it balance on one leg or is it trying to do a split?

Here's good pictures of two Ultimate Muscle versions of Sunshine.   The regular one has poor balance but I got it to stand.   Both versions have a eye patch.   They're interesting, but I still like the regular Kinnikuman / MUSCLE versions better.
