Has a toy or significant LRG item ever caught your eye in a movie or TV show?

Add a picture or movie clip of it here.  No rules really, just add whatever you would like to share.

This one has always stayed in my mind.  In the horrible 2007 movie Kickin' It Old Skool (staring Jamie Kennedy), there is a flashback scene where the 1986 kid version of Jamie Kennedy's character gives his crush a GPK.  It's a cute scene.  He even says "Garbage Pail Kids, Series 2, Jenny Jelly -- you don't have it, do you?"  She says, "Yes.... Psyche!" A couple seconds later the school bully comes and says, "Jen, this goober's buying you Garbage Pail Kids?" He then gives here a much cooler necklace with her name on the pendant.

The scene is only 2:45 into the movie.  The movie is on Youtube, but that scene has not been isolated.  Also, the opening credits feature a montage of toys you might find in a boy's room in 1986 -- MOTU, Transformers, Garfield, and Playmobil, among others.

Anyway, here is JENNY Jelly (69a) in a $25.7 million dollar flop (that grossed only $4.4 million), and has a 2% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Gorgonites are pretty cool.  It's funny how the toy store in Small Soldiers is like the most boring toy store ever -- it's like all wooden handmade crap -- just so the toys that the movie is designed to sell can really stand out.  They really shine above a bland 15 year old Kirsten Dunst too. Lots of talent in the movie, otherwise.

Here is a recent one.  The letter W in The ABCs of Death 2 starts out as a pretty sweet 80's action figure toy commercial parody.  Then it gets really weird.  Overall, still a very different segment from the rest of the movie.

Funny, I just picked up a bunch of He Man vehicles at the thrift store and thought of this, The Princess Bride. Workahlics was pretty funny this week and played into it as well. I could not find a relevant pic or video unfortunately. The Falcore ride is awesome though

Just found this.  It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  Season 2, Episode 8: "The Gang Runs For Office."   There is a whole B or C plotline about GPK.  Charlie reveals that he collects them as an "investment." He ends up giving his whole collection to Frank (Danny DeVito) as payment for a bribe.  Garbage Pail Kids are mentioned at least six times in the episode!

In just about every Rosanne episode you can see a large scale Imperial Godzilla sitting above their fireplace.

ID4 the little boy is playing with some Trendmasters Godzilla toys.

In 1985's remake of Godzilla when Burr pulls up to a kids house, the child is playing with the Zoids gojillas (spelling???)

I knew that there had to be atleast one cool thing in the Childs Play opening, aside, from the copy of Fireball island in the toys store window, you can see an Ecto 1 and it's package on a shelf.

Every episode of Seinfeld has a Superman action figure in at least one scene. Or so goes the rumor...

So the elevator at work has a video screen that runs adverts, every now and then I see one that features toys, of course it's quick so I could never get a pic with my phone. And I don't see it too often anymore, but after some digging though I found it.  It's a Dell commercial.

What is pretty cool is that once you look past the papo mutant figures I think I see an art toy.

http://laughingsquid...my-little-pony/

Makes me wonder if it was from one of the ad execs own collection.

I swear this thread has changed the way I watch Tv or movies. Anyway the other night the missus and me were watching Nightmare on Elm Street 3, and I spotted an imperial 2 headed dragon.  Now I'm gonna have to hunt one down.

Though not a tv show or movie, I spotted some gems in one of these books my little one loves so much.

First there's a "chinasaur" which looks like a mini of an imperial two headed dragon.

And then some Galaxy Laser Team figures one green and one painted.

I've seen a few things in some shows too, just haven't done the screen caps yet.

Spaced Invaders has a a few seconds worth of an original Zoids kit, the Gojulas. Much love for this movie, has some great one-liners.
