Thanks for the link, based on that article confirming they were McD's Happy Meal toys, I did some more searching and found this post on this site, which solved it.

Runaway Robots - 1987

In 80s and early 90s, McDonalds would often run regional Happy Meals. Sometimes the regional Happy Meals served as tests to see if a promotion was marketable, other times they were used to promote regional attractions such as the now-defunct SeaWorld of Ohio. Growing up in Massachusetts, a state that didn't get its first major theme park until the year 2000, our regional promotions tended to be either market tests or generic promotions. One such promotion we got was the Runaway Robots, issued in February of 1987. Runaway Robots was a set of six colorful robots that used amazing pull and go technology. These guys were the shit.

Going through and listing my remaining Transformers on the Bay and can't figure out these last two. I'm thinking these will be easy enough though. The yellow guy is a pull-back type, roughly 2" tall; for some reason I had it in my head that he was a GOBOTS fast food premium but the ones I'm finding from Wendy's don't look like this guy.

The other guy is about 3.75" and I'd assumed was a transformer but I've not had luck figuring out which one using the traditional ID methods. Might be because he looks like he could be missing pieces.

Your second figure is the Renegade Bladez from Go-Bots.

No idea on the pullback robot.

Thanks Baltan. The yellow pull-back robot has a copyright on the bottom that reads:

Made in China

I feel like I've seen others like it before; maybe one that looks kind of like a snake?

Interesting, ive came across these a few times and never knew what they were. I would have never guessed they were 80's at first glance, they look more 90's to me.

yeah I remember playing with them as a kid, though I never saw any of the other colors beyond the yellow and green until now. The purple one reminds me of a Nintendo or anime character...I want to say Final Fantasy mage but it's more specific than that.

Maybe you're thinking of a Shy Guy or a Snifit. I kinda see it.

Odd but neat little set of robots, glad they were rediscovered!
