So I got a shiny silver Spiderman (webbed) from a trade with UTS. After I got over the shock I wondered where this figure came from. It didn't match any of my other silver figures from either Wave so I decided to call it a defect...until...I was at TRU and the Wave 2 packs had the same shiny silver figures.
All my Wave 2 figures are a dull silver, just slightly thicker than Wave 1. I got all my Wave 2 silver figures early on so I'm thinking Hasbro changed the formula / mixture mid-way through the Wave. I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this?
I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it. That row is done for me except the solid Captain America. I'm not sure I want to trade for an additional 7 figures. I decide I want them I'm definitely going to have to trade for them at this point.

Whoah.. hadn't seen these guys yet. Then again, I haven't bought any HoH in a while - will have to have a look at TRU soon to see if I can spot any of these new shiny guys.
Coincidentally, the solid Cap'n was the last remaining figure for my Series 1 set - seems to be a tough one to track down!

I was at a TRU just last weekend and so far I have never seen a solid, shiny, silver or gold HoH fig. Interesting, though, maybe it's a new addition to the lineup. I will keep my eyes out for them.
As for the solid Cap, I know I have a few of those. What I CANNOT find here in the Midwest is clear black Venom and glitter versions of all 1st wave Spideys and Wolvies. I know, I know take my wants to the trade thread!

There is no glitter versions of the fourth row in either Wave. The red guys are gold. The blue guys are silver.
