Hi all

I'm new to the board! haha but today i picked up some little dinosaur figures, from the Dinosaur King line (Its a tv programme on Fox Kids i think).

They came with 2 dinosaur figures and a trading card, presumably there is a card game attached with them.

I got a Triceratops (very nicely sculpted, orange and tan in colour), and a Utahraptor (Purple with yellow lightning pattern).

They were only three pound from ASDA, and were on "roll back", so i grabbed em!! haha

Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen these. They would make a great collection!

All the best,

Jonathan

I like the concept behind Dinosaur King, not so much the anime (it's Pokemon part deux, complete with the dubs sharing many voice actors!). If Platinum hadn't just come out, I'd be tempted to pick up the DS game.

But I do like what I've seen of the toys and the cards, although most of the stuff I'd seen was from Japan until recently. I haven't seen anything like that in the US yet, but I wish I did!

Found some of the packs on eBay, and they do look good! Wonder if they're the same as the Sega PVCs from Japan?

Welcome and thanks, Johnathan!

hey, I saw these too in Asda on Saturday!

they're nice little figures (although they'd be better without a foot stand ), I had no idea that they were based on a Pokemon style video game!
