There is a bootleg set as well that is unique sculpts.

All kinkeshi types have been bootlegged at some time, so they are always mixed in lots

Are the ultimate muscle micro wrestlers considered kinkeshi?

Kinkeshi refers to japanese released kinnikuman mini-figures. So the small capsule release of the nisei figures would be considered Kinkeshi, but not the American Ultimate Muscle figures.

And although Kinkeshi is referred to Japanese figures for the most part it refers to the original vintage figures, since new figures will be listed as "new kinkeshi" not just "kinkeshi".

What is the difference between vintage 80s kinkeshi and 1991 ones? Another plastic, not soft rubber? How to know what I have? I saw gashapon new ones with same code on the back, yes looks new and shiny but what is the difference?

Is anywhere a full checklist made of the first ones? All Japan links I found on web are not working!?

Thanks!

original kinkeshi is like eraser rubber, 90's kinkeshi is a shinier rubber and a little firmer. during the 90's sets they reissued some of the original sculpts so you will find them in both materials.

its best to just educate yourself on the sculpts, since they have been reissued a few times they are in a few different types of materials.
