I am NOT diggin' that comic. They look waaaaaaaaaaaay too comical and NOT as kick a$$ as your bud's incredible series 2 sketches!!!

Who wants to bet we might have our peek at the next Xar-type figure, Seer? The guys escorting him look tough, especially that red-armored one. I'm definitely interested in seeing some more of what series 2 has in store...
Marty, you're right about the art difference, but isn't the series 1 comic like this too? I'm sure they leave the sweet art to the figure design, since it wouldn't be as easy or reasonable to keep up that same detail on a pack-in comic for the figures.

Books like the Japanese Battle Beast & Laser Beast books!!! 
With original concept art (sketches), full color test drawings, and then a guide of ALL the figures!!!

That would be awesome! There's books like that for Transformers too, especially a really good one that came out recently on the Binaltech line. Amazing stuff. Books like that are almost unthinkable for the most part outside Japan, having something like that for a Western toyline would be great, though maybe not that profitable.You know what would be kewl?

I like it. It looks pretty much like the comic included with the Battle Box. And I am liking the look of the red character and the bird character. Not sure on the character on teh right though. i would have to see his figure before i judged him.
