I don't know what all the fuss is about, This toy rules!!!

pure 80s bliss......I see VERY LITTLE difference between him and the original, and it has my 100% stamp of approval!!!

I never had an OP as a kid, and this is the first one I have ever had in my collection......

I've handled enough originals though, and know that this one feels right.....

my highest grade!

I don't have one myself, but apparently the differences are...

1) The missiles are longer, to conform with today's standards. The missile shooters probably have holes to allow the added length to go through the shooter.

2) The exhaust stacks on his shoulders are cropped off, again for safety reasons (although I'm not sure why).

They're very minor differences, though. Optimus has plenty of small parts that can get lost easily (like his hands) so $40 for a mint complete one is a great deal, I think!

My dad got it for me as a B-Day gift.....

nevermind that my birthday was in January!, he didn't get me anything because he was broke at the time, but as soon as he had a significant amount of cash, he asked me what I wanted.......that's what I got!
