All I have to say is I am a fullblown Kubrick Junkie. Thanks alot Japan. Thanks for giving me another toy to be OCD about. Oh yeah, I spent over 300 dollars on Transformer PVC's, so USA you can go to hell with your Heroes of Cybertron. Good for nothing, I can't find them anywhere anyway.

As far as Kinnikuman, I couldn't find the new pinkies or anything old, just Second Generation stuff. I got a couple of cool capsule toys... Darkstalkers and Capcom stuff, and some super tiny Monsters Inc. figures on blister packs, pretty cool. I am going back in March with fort knox in my bag. I will buy everything in sight.

Japan really makes it fun to collect. When they release a toy line, they almost NEVER do a re-issue, so if you're not paying attention you may miss something. Another cool thing they do with certain toys is incorporate the whole chase figure scenario. They pack everything in unmarked boxes which really arouses suspense when you're crackin them open. I was after these Kubricks called "Enemy Posse" and on the box it showed the assortment rate for all the figures in the series and there is this one Camouflage SWAT figure that comes seeded one in every 96 boxes.... I GOT ONE!!!! Another chase figure I also scored is a Lord Starscream from the Act 8 Transformer PVC's which goes for around a 100 bucks on eGay. I feel like a champ because anyone can readily buy one on there, but I got one the hardcore way. I am finding myself using eBay less and less as it totally robs you of the surprise. Theres something about the uncertainty of what you're getting that I love. Well folks that's all for now. Peace

I stayed in Gotanda but I was everywhere... Akihabara, Shinjuku, Ueno, Shibuya, Harajuku, Roppongi. The best toy store I went to BY FAR was in Ueno it was called Yamashiroya and it is right across the street from the train station. That crap was 6 stories tall, they had everything it was ridiculous. That's where I bought my cases of PVC's... dropped about 320,000 yen there.

I can't stand chase figures. Invariably, the chase figure is the one that I think is the coolest, but I can never find it because it's short-packed and all the collectors hoard them to sell on Ebay. Chase figures were one of the major reasons the Star Trek line took a nose-dive: collectors couldn't find the figures that they wanted and felt that their collections were incomplete (remember the debacle of the 1701 figures).

And as for packing things in unmarked boxes, the Monster Rancher line did the same thing over here. It was fun because the figure you got was a surprise, but it made collecting them all very expensive and basically impossible because you didn't know which figure you were getting so you'd have to buy a bunch to get them all. I ended up giving up because I wasn't that into Monster Rancher, but if they did the same thing with Ultimate Muscles, I'd probably prefer to have that suspense and surprise!

Shibuya is awesome, that is where Tsubasa worked prior to coming here. I stayed there for about a week before going to Kumamoto. I also went to a 6 story toy store, can't quite remember the name. Did yours have a cool elevator with a camera, and every floor had a different theme? Like one floor was disney, one floor was video games etc.... the one I went to was like that, I loved it too. I also liked the arcades every where you look. I enjoyed showing them that America is a prominent force in the gaming world by whooping up on some nihon jin at tekken tag, and tekken four. Thay got some sweet arse games we will probably never see here either. I wish I could have went with you. we should all plan a trip next summer prior to Muscle con so we can awe the spectators with our cool crap.
