Cool!

How much was that Vorhees figure? I have the neca version and totally forgot there was gonna be another nes inspired version. I was playing the game just last night actually. I don't know if i'll ever beat it and the game over screen is beyond depressing.

Voorhees was a little over $16 with tax. Toy Tokyo's line for exclusives was crazy for most of the day. I walked up late in the afternoon when there was no line, and they still had a bunch of Jason. Maybe 4 or 5 of their other exclusives were sold out.

Looks like people are paying around $40 for Jason on ebay now, but that should come down as all the re-sellers compete with each other.

Yeah, I got that NECA one too in a trade with a UK boardie when NECA's UK ebay store had it for a good price. The packaging is the best part.

Somebody at NYCC was selling gray plastic flasks that were shaped like NES cartridges with custom labels. Castlevania was Castle Vodka. They had versions of Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, Zelda and a few others too. They even made a limited gold version of the Zelda one. Pretty clever and only $15, but I didn't get one.

It most be pretty awesome to visit such a huge event.

Oh man that's pretty cool! I would get one and use it all the time. Not for alcohol though but still!

Yeah, I've been hoping to see some pics of the display too since I missed it. I can't even guess how many miles I walked around the floor yesterday trying to make sure I didn't miss a booth. I didn't see that Toy Hunter/Hollywood Heroes guy at all, and it would be a surprise if they didn't have a booth. They had a huge one last year. Very possible that I missed that too.

I like checking out the vintage toy booths even though I'm not likely to buy anything. One guy had a mint in package My Pet Monster that looked so perfect that I asked him if it was a reproduction. It was the real thing. 200 bucks.

Edit: @ PlasticSoul - Yep, those are the flasks. Pretty funny.

I hate blind boxes for the same reason you do.

I bought a Game of Thrones mystery mini from Funko, and I ended up with goddamn Joffrey Baratheon. I can't even throw it away because it cost me $10.

I'm hoping I have better luck with the Sci-fis.

I only want the Metaluna Mutant and could get it cheaper on ebay than the price of two blind boxes. I have absolutely no interest in Star Trek and even my kids don't want E.T. because the blank white eyes creep them out. I might have got the two worst possible pulls for me.

Why do all of them have that blank eye thing going on... Can't blame your kids. Lol. Still looks cool though.

Nothing a sharpie can't fix, no? Ha!

Well if THIS is true than its no wonder you might have missed the Rise of the Beasts....................

Jordan Hembrough from Toy Hunter was around for sure based on the pics with him comming from NYCC last weekend, not sure if he was there every day though.

UPDATE

Luckily the reference above was a RotB display from last year, THIS was the actual display they had during NYCC2014.
