Kaijukorner-hp-1.jpg

I run Kaiju Korner, which mostly focuses on indie Japanese toys, toy shop visits and information, and toy event coverage. Recently, I've been doing more keshi posting. For example, I put together a post with the full Makaimura keshi set, and I did another on the Zoomoth Makaimura Arthur.

I've got more like that planned with other sets and interesting figures I've come across.

I've also written a bunch of articles for Playtimes (RIP) and Clutter magazine.

And I have a YouTube channel where I post interviews I've done with toy makers, shop visits, and other random interesting stuff.

Good to know ya'll. :)

HA ha, I actually just discovered your blog the other day. I'm going through a bit of a ghouls n ghost phase and wanted see if anyone else was looking into the keshi line. I've also discovered they released a board game version in japan.

I really liked the way you covered Onell Design.

I've been drooling over his art for a while and watched the interview several times.

Yeah they did some fun stuff with the figures. I did another write up here with a bunch of different figures from over the decades.

Thanks dude. Matt's a really cool guy. Fortunately the lighting, setting, and everything else came together with that shoot. And I had the camera on a tripod, which I think I left at his house.

Nice. Kaiju Korner is in my Feedly (replacement for Google Reader) and I always enjoy when a new post pops up.

I never in a million years pictured Matt to be so goddamn metal. What an awesome beard.
