Recently my brother wrestled a show that was inside a public library! It was covered by the local news (haha) but for me it was more about seeing him wrestle again (he suffered a pretty serious injury while I was on vacation in Asia this past summer).

I fully support this, Library's are way too quiet. How was his first show back?

He did some rehab and training in a ring before he actually had his first match back. For that particular event nothing too crazy was needed to entertain the kids so it was pretty safe (more of a way to work out the kinks etc). So it was the perfect show to have a return match :)

Sounds like it was a load of fun, was there a reason for it being in a Library? The lady said so they can teach people that Librarys are more diverse or something like that, I am not sure thats the real reason, seems more like a publicity stunt.

I'm not sure but in America Public Libraries are always trying to attract people with promotions/events to physically use the Library (mainly kids). I have not lived back home in quite some time but in later years people went exclusively for internet usage and not so much books. So its probably a mix of stunt and just plain advertisement.

The company (Mondo Lucha) does sort of a niche product and theme events (like Day of The Dead etc) & combines on occasion wrestling with Burlesque between matches; so I imagine they contacted the Library (maybe) or vice versa.
