Why is it that it called "Drunken Master"?

 

I cant remember his name off the top, but i know thats not it. He's the elder of the Hormon Clan. I Mean, He's not an extremely important character but he has relevance, considering he's Bibimba's dad and therefore Kinnikumans Father-in-law and  Kid Muscles Grandfather...

 

Why was that specific name chosen?

Yeah, his original kinnikuman name is Horumon Yaki. The Drunken Master name comes from the person who originally found the figure in MUSCLE plastic. He named his new super rare "Drunken Master" after an old kung fu movie reference.

Sam Seed was the drunken masters name in the movie "Drunken Master". He taught Jackie Chan the drunken style...cool movie

Well, that's his name in the English dubbed version anyway...

I figured that, The question wasnt so much why it was picked over the actual name of the character, rather why it was chosen, period.
