In my excitement of buying this stuff on Ebay, I managed to buy an extra NBA Jam TE. I obviously wasn't paying attention, and my short term memory obviously sucks. If you want it, let me know. You'll just pay shipping.
If all you're going to do is turn around and sell it to make a quick buck, stay away.

I loved the original contra! I believe the code was up up down down left right left right B A B select start.
Only hit select if you have two players.

Me and my brother had a fit when Contra came out on the SNES. Played that game to exhaustion.
Also, how do you hook up the NES to an HDTV? I've been without my NES for over a year. Can't seem to figure out the best way to hook it up.

My 3 in 1 console (Retron) came with the proper plugins (red, white, yellow cords and the round cord that has several prongs sticking out), and when I want to switch from tv to game I click on the video button on my controller.

I love Contra. Some family friends of ours use to have a store with a game room. They had Contra on arcade. We would play it everytime we went over there. Can't say I ever beat it though. Alot of classics that I never could beat, but usually I could get to the last stages.

Beat it again without using the 30 lives trick. Not a single game over. I died a few times, though - I ended the game with 6 lives, so I died... 5 times?
When I played this again a few weeks back I need the 30 lives. I think I had around five left. Obviously, you're a better gamer.
