I grew up in the 90's. I know or heard of different mini figures series. So how did Crazy Bones fly under my radar? These look pretty cool. Very vibrant which I'm not used to collecting. But you never know.

So a couple questions;

What's a decent price to pick these up for if I decide to start collecting them in the future?

I'v seen blind bags and tins. I think I saw 4 different tins.(so far) Do the tins always come with the same figures? Or are the tins filled with random figures?

Hopefully there's someone who collects these that can fill me in. Also feel free to add in any additional info about Crazy Bones.

My daughter collects these (and no, it's not a passive insult, it's an explanation for why I am buying a line I have never collected myself), and what I find is that different eras/releases are worth different amounts, with little rhyme or reason. The DBZ Crazybones aren't expensive, but definitely run a little bit more. You can still get Gogos for pretty cheap, and if you just buy a bulk lot you can usually find a pretty decent deal. Buying singles, though, is dumb as f**k.

I can confirm what iron is saying.

They're generally not an expensive line to pick up!

I guess it might depend on the particular tin, but in general I do believe their contents were mostly or fully random. Like, maybe some came with a particular figure/color but that would be it?

I think the GoGos ones always came with a fist dude. I could be wrong, but I vaguely remember something about those fist-head dudes when my kid was into them.

Awesome info. I thought that was the case with the tins. A part of me wanted the tins to have an exclusive 10 figures that only came in the tins. But I kinda figured they'd be random. I'm not sure if I'll ever get into collecting Crazy Bones. But it's nice to know they don't run all that much compared to other figure series.

You're referring to the newer ones, the ones that are styled more like Baby's First Art Toy, right? That's the annoying thing about trying to separate which line is which, they're ALL GoGo's (I think that was the original name for the figures in Spain), it's just the old 90s line didn't emphasize it as much as the current line does.

Am I remembering this correctly: wasn't there a thread started by one of our members late last year where they found a crap-ton of unopened crazy bone packages in a dumpster?  I think he ended up listing everything on ebay.

I know I know ... entirely un-helpful, but this thread reminded me of that thread.

For what it's worth, I know very little about the line, but it is always smart with any LRG line to buy in bulk (ESPECIALLY when you are just starting).  I would never attempt to buy singles on any line, until you are closing in on completing your collection.

Good luck fisheye!!

Yeah I have other figure series in mind way before these. I'm not sure I want to even start collecting these to begin with. But the info you guys are giving is great. I still can't believe I never heard of these back in the 90's.

I have looked on Ebay to see how popular they are. And I saw a bunch of blind bags being sold for cheap. Maybe that's the guy you speak of. @ plasticfriend
