Think Strontium was right - shill bidding on this one.

Looking at the winning bidder of that green poacher thats up before it was relisted, it was o**s (0) and low and behold the current bidder on the relisting of it is... o**s (0)

I'd stay well away until this guy stops bidding on his own auctions:-/

I've reported the auctions he (adamcraig123) has shilled, but eBay is just not interested at all. No acknowledgement from them, no attempt to restrict the shill account (leeloos91), nothing.

So, dear eBay, you can go and suck your own farts.

I like turning peeps in to ebay, so I did with this seller.

These are definately shilled auctions.

Ebay might not do anything but that doesn't mean we can't have a bit of fun.

I'd be willing to get a non paying bidder strike. Let's bid this one to the moon.
It takes upto 2 weeks to get credited fees.

And yea, the SD, ebay and farts thing caught me off gaurd.

Shame ebay are all for seller protection but when this happens they seemingly overlook it. All it takes is one person to check the addresses or credit cards linked to the two accounts and if they match then do something. If they don't well I guess its a friends account or something

Man i hate shill bidders, both me and the missus sells on ebay and always start our prices at 99p, some things we sell only go for that and while we wish it went for more we stop and think to ourselves, at least its one more £ for the kids

we never will get £1 for certain items if we where to sell it at a bootsale anyway,,, a sale is a sale, no matter how cheap it sells!!!

That's how it should be.

I mean really, people can set a starting price at ANY number they want. If they want at least x then start the bidding at x.

Heh, its back up, seller is saying its his last duplicate of it.. either that or it fell through for the umpteenth time. Someone different won it last time, so I wonder if something went amiss with the deal

God knows but it seems they dont care, its more if you dont pay for an item, 3 strikes gets your account suspended i think, but for shilling, I've no idea. Doesnt seem like they paid attention to it before

Unfortunately all the shilling paid off for the seller in the end, SLTJ just paid £40 for the figure

It's not really the price, which is about right, just a feeling that "crime shouldn't pay". Not to worry.
