Hi. I've been looking at Gatoregger recently and I keep coming across hard ones with dammage, for example here.

Seems like the dammage is production based, a tiny bit missing on the foot, plus those smooth bits on his stick, leg and sometimes face. Does anyone know if this is just a standard thing with these figures or has anyone seen any with absolutely no dammage? I know on omletto there was always a little mold linee on or near the leg.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, it does appear to be "standard" damage from the factory. Peel Poachers seem to always have a chunk/slice taken from the right eye. Tough to see on the yellow sculpt pictured in the archive though. I can try to get a better pic sometime.

We think its from when they separated the sculpts from the tree/sprue. They must have just sloppily cut them right off without much care.

I checked an original the other day- I think the foot is not actually a foot but a club type rounded tail. It wraps around from the side, with raised bumbs as oart of the texture (as per the arms). Which is very dinosaur like.

So does beg the question whether he was more dinosaur than gator...
