Yes, let me just say I'm painfully aware how rare Bad Eggz Bunch are in general :D

My question is: which of the Bad Eggz Bunch are truly hard to find? I've seen and heard of more than one red Eggipede-is this a common one? csmhoff seems to be having a hard time finding Eggasaurus (for the customs)-is this a rare one? Are certain colors more rare than others? Is there a certain figure that a lot of board members are looking for? Is there a certain figure that a lot of board members already have (such as the previously mentioned Eggipede)?

Sorry if this topic has been addressed before, or if it's common knowledge. BEB in general seem VERY hard to find but it seems like the members of this forum have a very healthy number of BEB between them ;) , and therefore are the best source of knowledge on the subject.

Hook me up with the knowledge you guys!

The only one I have at the moment is a red Egg Gripper... this figure and colour combo would appear to be one of the commonest, I have seen 5 or 6 people who have this exact same one.

Ha, this is an old topic, I thought I'd never get a reply....

I asked this question originally because, like you mentioned with Egg Gripper, there seems to be a few colors/sculpts that are a bit more common than others. I have seen multiple red Eggipedes, so I assumed this was one of the more common sculpt/color combinations. Also, I've noticed that a variety of Yolkyuks seem to be around, implying this one is slightly more 'common' as well.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, just judging by how hard it was for Rich to get a hold of them (for the customs), or by looking through old posts and seeing what others have in their collection, it seems like Hard Boiler, Eggasaurus, and Bategg are fairly rare. To my knowledge (which isn't great) I only know of 1 existing figure of each of these.......unless people are being secretive and don't want to talk about what they have in their collection

Me? My collection stands at:
Vertebregg-green
Yolkyuk-purple
Eggipede-red
Hard Boiler-red
Larvegg-red
Peel Poacher-blue
Beater Beast-blue
Egg Gripper-blue
Egg Crusher-purple
and the little 'troll' guy who's name escapes me...looks like Omletto (it's not), he's wearing a horned helmet, and is holding a club...kind of has a piggy nose...whoever he is, I have him in yellow!

the troll guy is Poacher.

Its really difficult to identify which are the rarest, the common being defined by a handful of figures, still makes them uber rare.

Eggasaurus was the only figure in the end I couldnt locate a hard version of in the end, although thankfully that was not a really detailed figure so was ok in soft form.

Its also worth considering what are the best sculpts- Id say an Octoegg/larvegg/beater beast/omletto for example would be more desirable than a squegg say. Although there are soooo many good sculpts in the series- i love deviled egg/vertebregg. oh andyolkyuk, damn, its hard to pick a favourite.

Worth revisiting this topic, because after a few years of collecting (or trying to) it's apparent that some figures are substantially less common than others.

I have red Eggipede, and I noticed in Soupie's old collection pics that at one point he had three (!) in this colour. I don't recall seeing this one in many other colours though.

Poacher, Egg Crusher and Omletto seem to turn up more often in purple and green too. Bategg seems more common in purple. Hard Boiler seems to be rare in any colour.

Yolkyuk seems more common in green and purple, less so in blue and yellow. Has anyone seen a red Yolkyuk? I think the only one I've ever seen is in the original advert.

...Bategg seems more common in purple...

I believe another purple Bategg has just appeared on eBay UK mixed in with a couple of MIMP.

Yes, you're right, great timing

There was one the other week too. I think we can safely chalk this one off as one of the more common combinations.
