Think this is long overdue myself, as it says in the title, a tracker thread for BEB to see what they go for and how prices fluctuate over time.

Auction summaries should probably include the following:

* Auction number & description (if eBay)
* BEB figure(s) featured including colour and hardness
* Item picture
* Date of sale
* Final price
* Winner (if known)

Amazing score! How the heck did we all manage to miss that :)

EDIT: Okay, I see now that it's the same Scramble Skeeto that was sold a fortnight later for £103.06! Nice bit of profit there ;)

Indeed, a tidy profit, a Snailien and some P.E.T. Aliens. Wonderful stuff indeed :yes:

It was tempting to keep the Skeeto, but I got a full set of those re-mouldings that Csmhoff did. They don't feel as nice, but I can still look at them.

And yeah, profit! It funded many ridiculous dinosaur purchases.

What a dildo. what is this guy going to possibly do with every single BEB that turns up on ebay? I wonder if he realizes that once he quits buying them that his heap of BEB will be valued at half of what he paid for it. The only reason prices are so high is because this douchebag is mad at Strontium Dog :starwars: . How much $$ are you willing to throw at a disagreement?

I'd put it down that they are both as annoyed as each other at each other, after all he'd not be paying these huge prices if there wasn't the bidding war that happens each time. It just shows that he has either a massive overdraft or a lot of money to continuously be paying these sorts of prices. I have won a couple of things this guy had been bidding on but it was usually when there wasnt a war on, or Stronty kindly let me had a go at winning without bidding against him. Either way, the prices are quite insane now, I doubt I'll ever get one of the little buggers on ebay thats for sure lol :-D

Well now, in fairness to me, I was only the fifth highest bidder on two of these auctions and third on the other, so it ain't me who's driving the prices :confused:

They still fly under the radar of most of us now and again, as a few of the auctions above show. I mean, you got that Blemmyea for chump change the other day, no reason why you can't get a BEB like that too. I've never paid more than £40 for a BEB and likely never will.

Yeah thats true, though the blemmyae is one of the very few things I got lucky on ebay in a long time. I did see that that guy won a bad eggz figure for about £8 buy it now, and he already had it I think too but that was quite a long time ago, last year maybe.

You're right that ones don't always get noticed, that scrable skeeto is a prize example, I bought two lots off the same seller as they had ninja weapons in and missed that other one completely. I think I was out but only noticed the pet aliens in it.

When you paid £40 for BEB figures, when was that exactly, cos I remember reading on here people saying they used to go for £30 or so before the prices shot up. I wonder what peoples maximum prices they'd pay for one is, as until there were a couple of other guys bidding big prices and occaisonally winning them there weren't many bidders and most tended to be low.

The guy who bought my Scramble Skeeto (and all the others too!) tells me that he has over 80 of the things now, he's a super collector!

The funny thing is, him and Stronty don't live that far from each other (evil, knowing laughter).

About 30 minutes on the train or so. Personally if I had that kind of money to spend, I'd be living somewhere nicer than f*cking Eastham, but each to their own!

Sure it must have its appeal somehow. The Wirral being the Wirral, that is, a peninsula, wouldn't they have their own micro-climate or something?

Yeah, with that kind of money I'd be in Blundellsands if everyone who lived there weren't massive arseholes :lol:

More money than sense to me, if I had that I'd not be spending a hundred pound a go on a 4cm high piece of plastic B)

oh yeah and for the hell of it I just noticed this smiley and thought it was pretty sweet :mage: whoever got this one put up is clearly awesome

Since this is a price tracker I just won Soupies Hard Green Beater Beast for $50. With some gunk stains on it. Which by the way is what I paid for all 3 BEB that I own. Down with the BEB purchasing Monopoly :whoops:

Thats good to know, I will be tempted to bid on one if it gets auctioned here - I guess most people don't know about the price worth when they put on ebay (or peoples private offers suddenly get them leaving them up to get huge bids on). Nice one and definitely down with the crazy prices!

Anyone who saw the two Poacher figures - purple and green sold for £38 and £36 respectively, I won one and the seller said don't pay for it and that his account being hacked and then his child had lost them.
