This is kind of random I guess, but has anybody heard from TinyPink in a while? I know he's taken hiatus' in the past but he hasn't been on here since March and I didn't know if anyone had any contact with him outside of LRG. Hope the dude is ok. We had lined up a trade of which I sent my stuff to him but never received anything back which is TOTALLY unlike him as he sends ridiculously generous packages. 

 

Anyway, if anybody has any word hit me up either on this thread or PM/DM.

I had a trade lined up and then he just disappeared.  Nothing was sent or paid for, but we had the parameters lined up when he just dropped off the earth.  This from a guy who was constantly on the boards.  I've been worried as well.

He's a fairly new member, and seems to only be logged in for a trade session, then disappears for a long time.  Then pops back in for a few trades, then gone again.

 

He sent me a few things, and disappeared a while ago- I've never been able to get ahold of him to send him anything in return.  There was no actual trade lined up- he just sent stuff and told me to hit him up later and see what I could send him in return.  That was months ago

I know what Steve Rotters is dealing with, and I hope he is doing ok. He for sure has health issues, but I don't wanna air his business out around here so I'll leave it at that; I've never gotten any specifics from Tiny Pink, but I was always of the opinion based on our conversations that he has some health issues that he deals with too. Regardless of the reasons, I hope they are both ok! I hope you get some kind of closure at least with your trade though Redspook; we talked about this before and I know how frustrating it can be!

I concur with dixiebull. I was worried about Tiny a couple months ago and said something. Haven't seen him since. He would take brief breaks but nothing as long as this. He still logged in and would say something... I have sent steverotters five consecutive pm's. We had just finished up a trade and I wanted to make sure he got his package. Then I just asked for a PM so I would know he was doing ok. Haven't heard anything in response. They both had some personal stuff going on. Sure hope they are both doing alright.

I disagree. As long as I've been here and with the way people fade in and out of the community, I don't find it unexpected but I absolutely don't get used to it. It's a shame when cool, constructive members of the community bail out without saying anything (not in the "I'm leaving, eff Veers and all those Nazi mods and supporters out to get me" way, that is). Dudes like URS and asator vanishing sucks.

 

I was going to get around to mentioning something about Steve's absence myself. I've been unusually remiss on a deal with him and need to make a point to send out my end of a trade. Maybe it'll make his day finally receiving my little care package, if he's really got some bad stuff going on at the moment otherwise.

I have both their address's, I've been swamped and have been meaning to reach out to them via snail mail. If someone else needs I can send them the address and you can reach them that way. If something were to have happened at least a significant other can see the snail mail and contact you directly.

I have only been with LRG for a couple of years now, and it took me some getting used to people coming and going.  SO yeah I know it happens, BUT by the same token - ideally there are folks who we come to connect with and that we can call friends (even virtually).  Steve and I didn't always see eye to eye, but for a while I thought we were pretty tight and given everything that was going on with him I would certainly be saddened if the worse has happened.

 

Pink on the other hand, I just didn't know or have much interaction with him... but I have seen his pattern of coming and going so I figured it was just a matter of time before he pops up again!

There was a period several months ago maybe even before the end of the year where he was gone for almost a month.  I know sometimes it's difficult for him to get online, so I'm hoping that's all it is.

Same. We had two conversations going. The last few messages I received were very short. I had apparently received his mail while out of town and we were talking about what he would be interested in. The last couple he expressed that he didn't really care what or when, or at all really. I chalked it up to him really just not caring and that he figured I would send him an adequate amount in a timely fashion. When I got back I put together a rather large box of stuff and shipped it out. I stressed to him that I would appreciate a PM just to know he was ok. That was a couple weeks ago now and haven't heard anything. Dude loves his toys. Hard to believe he would be away this long.

Just as an personal experience sometimes its time to dissappear... Ive been out quite alot compared to my first year simply cause ive had some serious issues going on...
I sometimes answered my pms priefly but most of em i got back once i got here. Im trying to get to the Lrg community again tho and be here more.

I hope and believe Both Steve and Luie are fine and well. They maybe need a bit of time to get their lifes together... Awesome guys nevertheless, i hope i will get around trading with them again sometime
