Transformers, G.I. Joe, MOTU and probably a dozen more famous 80´s toys will pass before you, as a toy collector, would consider Battle Beasts as a collectible toy. So… WHY!? BATTLE BEASTS

What´s been the most important detail(s) in the Battle Beasts line which made you decide to start collecting them?

Enjoy the Beasts!

For me, they had that unique combination of looking awesome, yet being small and cheap enough that collecting an army was a simple matter in the 1980s. I had TONS of these guys, and some of them just looked amazing. Very few "Super-common/every kid had one" toys look as cool as Pirate Lion or Deer Stalker, either. Never mind the SUPER-awesome ones like the Weasel, or ultra-rare types like the Series III guys, most of which were thought of as myths in my childhood.

I had 12 or so when I was a kid, and I came up with my own backstory for them because I loved them so much.  they are SO imaginative, and they make you wonder what they are really all about.

True even after 30 years they make you wonder and they´re still surrounded by a lot of ???

We know a lot about them but we´ve also learned that we´ll probably never know their complete backstory and I guess that´s also what makes this line so unique!

After reading this and based on the recommendations of other LRG members, I decided to start collecting Battle Beasts this week!

I remember having some randoms as a kid because they were priced relatively cheap (that was super important to a Parent & when growing up poor in the Southside of Chicago!)

But besides that I dont have a deeper connection like most collectors to the line (although I did see them in anime form 13 years ago!).

That will probably change once I start collecting them.

So "Why Battle Beasts?"...well why not! :)

Awesome, good luck building your own army of these little fellows.

I might not be as easy/cheap as back in the days but they´re still great fun.

Enjoy the Beasts!
