I wouldn't even know where to start to do that haha my eBay skills aren't quite what they should be.

It's ridiculously easy

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/second_chance_offer.html

Don't forget to report the winning bidder as a non payer; there seems to be a whole raft of bidders from Mexico with low feedback scores pushing the prices of MIMP up, anything that helps thin out their numbers has to be a good thing.

That really sucks mate, that guy bid on my lot I sold the other day with the premiums in but didn't win. The seller for mine was great and paid really quickly so sucks when some arse turns up and won't pay.

I've sold to two guys in Mexico and both have been fine, no hassle at all, though lately the post to there seems to be really really slow, even before the Christmas rush so might be a blessing that you didn't have to sent them.

Hope you get it resolved anyway and get that guy down as a non payer on ebay.

Incredible auctions!

He also has 3 Pink Cyclops in a single auction:

I am guessing he will get quite a few messages about these
so won't hound him about the details if someone has already?!

I find it interesting that the blue Jotun Trolls and orange Hydras which proliferated a few years ago have appeared again, but at the same time as these other rare figures. I'd guess that this means their origins are linked.

The last seller said the orange Hydras, blue Jotuns and pine green T Rexes came from some arcade promotion. I have messaged this seller, so we'll see what they say.

Well, well, well

I actually won them in an arcade in New Jersey like... 15 or so years ago. I had no idea what they were (I thought they were muscle men so I was never able to find the value and just figured they were random toys).

So these also came from a New Jersey arcade, just like the last lot.

Thanks for the information. I wonder how they were distributed? As prizes?!

I see the auctions have ended already... I expect he got a lot of private
messages. I wonder if they will reappear as individual listings or all will
be sold as private sales.

The 'Monster' in Monster in my Pocket collecting rears its ugly head :)
Although great to see more of these figures in circulation and hopefully
they go to good homes.

I just messaged the seller and he informs me they will be re-listed.
How I am unsure. I am guessing as individual lots but no information
on price was exchanged.

I guess in this instance it will make them more fair game and give
more collectors the opportunity to own the figures.

I am just excited to see more in existence! :)

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this isn't the place for this, but I was wondering if I could get some help pricing these figures out.

I have a bunch I'm putting on ebay and wanted to try and figure out a realistic starting bid.

I appreciate any help!

Here's the kinds I have:

T-rex orange

T-rex green
Hydra orange
Hydra green
Cyclops pink
Cyclops blue
Jotun Troll pink
Jotun Troll blue

I think the orange is definitely "neon" possibly the Pink and Blue too which are a really bright magenta and cyan. The green is a really strong maybe kelly kind of green. I've seen "pine green" while looking around the internet, I think it's that color.

Thanks again!

-Paul

Due to limited sightings of these figures before and fluctuation on
what prices 'certain' collectors will pay for Monster in my Pocket
items, personally it is difficult to place a price on the figures.

Individual auctions with low starting bids allow the market to decide
and collectors will place bids on how much the figures are worth to
them. It's the most diplomatic way to play it in my view. I don't think
any of the figures will sell for rock bottom prices, so don't worry about
that!

I can only echo Darryl's advice. Low starting bids and the market will set its own price, which will be substantial.

I know it seems counter-intuitive, but you'll generally get the best prices with low starting bids. Trust me, they won't end low ;)

I would have suggested just letting the auctions run as they were, however if you're looking for top dollar, I'd agree with Darryl again about listing the figures individually.

So far as values is concerned, it's so difficult to gauge, but I suspect the blue Jotuns, green T Rex and orange Hydras will be the least valuable, simply because many of us already have those particular figures. Another seller sold a bunch of those which they also got from a Jersey arcade.

However, the others are very uncommon, and I can't see a way in which they fetch less than $100 each; people pay that kind of money for cereal premiums, which are much more common.

I was surprised to see the starting bid also but unfortunately
I guess we don't know what 'went on' behind the scenes.
Considering someone has placed a bid on the $300 Jotun
Troll perhaps that 'price point' was thrown around?

Either way I guess there is no further input required from
us at this point!
