MONSTER IN MY POCKET - MONSTER ROCK CASSETTE (1992)
Attached File  Album Art.jpg   119.75K   4 downloads

DOWNLOAD LINKS
MP3 320kbps zip pack - 89.8mb (unzipped size)
MediaFire - http://www.mediafire...cassettemp3.zip

WAV lossless zip pack - 337mb (unzipped size)
MediaFire - http://www.mediafire...cassettewav.zip

Here are some high quality recordings of the MIMP Monster Rock cassette, available as MP3 320kbps or WAV lossless. All tracks have been trimmed, levelled and tagged. Both packs also include unedited 600dpi scans of the cover, plus a custom album art image (which is embedded in the mp3 versions). I've seen several people (myself included) requesting this over the years, but couldn't see that anyone had ever actually provided it. Feel free to reupload/repost/whatever.

Also, I'd like to again take this opportunity to ask:

Please can anyone here provide HIGH QUALITY scans or photos of the Nabisco cereal box with the MIMP Series 3 promo on the back?
(i.e. big enough to allow ALL the text to be read)

This is one of those things that could have been lost to history. There were a whole bunch of 80's toy series that used cassettes and a lot of them aren't available online :( We appreciate it.

Shame you couldn't have lent me your tape, did you not see me asking if anyone had a copy a while back?

Preservation is actually the main reason I did this. I never had the cassette when I was a kid so it doesn't have any sentimental value to me. I just noticed that it didn't seem to be available anywhere online (and is rare to see anywhere even in cassette form). I bought a copy specially to do this for the community.

That's also why I keep asking if anyone has the Nabisco cereal box with the MIMP Series 3 promo on the back - as the only image that's available of it is one that's too small to read. It's the only place to read the bios of the series 3 monsters, and it's not preserved for future generations. Really wish I could find someone who has it.

I can't remember if I saw it or not. I also hesitate to send my collection pieces in the mail, for fear of breakage/lost in the mail as well as the fact that people have stolen my stuff before (no one on here has though). Bad experiences have made me very cautious.

Thank you so much for the upload! I never had or even knew there was a tape when I was younger. I played it a few times and then because it was on my recently added it got played a few times more haha I thoroughly enjoyed it but boy is it bad!! The character voices are hilarious and the lyrics most of the time don't even try to rhyme haha I really liked medusa's sultry solo tho. An absolute classic.

Thanks again :D

Can anyone provide a download mirror for my zip packs (WAV version and MP3 version)? Considering how rare this tape is, I'd like there to be a backup in case my links go down anytime.
