That is actually very helpful, thanks!

Although, $7 for one mini figure seems a little steep... I will most certainly grumble my way through buying the whole set.

Could always be worse - you could be paying $16 for one turtle!

I mean, that is absolutely true...
But, these aren't "scarce" vintage figures... However, I think these are far superior sculpts to the old ones, and ultimately, I am excited about them.

I'm still going to piss and moan about paying more than $5 for one mini figure, but that's just how it goes.

I agree that 6.99 is way too much but TRU gives 20% off coupons on the site or email from time to time, if I spot one I will let you guys know and that takes a little bit of the sting out of buying these.

Well if you do end up getting these i would gladly pay you like 3 bucks plus shipping for each container and the goo while you keep the figures.

Sweet!

I am down for 3 bucks a pop from anyone but i would prefer it be at least a couple containers cause buying one for 3 bucks and paying shipping would be about what i'd pay locally for the whole thing.

My kids are both into TMNT, so I'll grumble my way through buying at least 2 full sets and then decide if I need them for me too. The wife and I both have a lot of rewards coupons built up right now though.

Good to know about the lettering on the bottom. I didn't realize they would be blind in any way.

You can see them some what inside but figured I would share the codes just to avoid doubles. I went back to buy some and they don't ring up and so they said they are supposed to be $5.99 not $6.99. Not sure if that will be the case in the future for these but better price at $5.99. 7 were already sold and so out of the 5 left there was 2 Donatello, 2 Leonardo, and 1 Mike. I wonder if the case is 3 of each turtle or if they are random, Here are some pictures to show the size to other figures, These have great sculpts and they are different sizes too (Don is pretty big compared to Mike).

It was only a joke, of course. The price on these is crummy, but it's because the draw isn't supposed to be the minifigure alone. It's like the Ben 10 minifigs some of us went after years back - we were paying for gimmicky powders despite only wanting the figures. Also, another factor here is the trend of terrible TRU prices. Toys'R'Us has been notorious for overcharging on their toys, especially of late, and not merely because of the holidays. I bet these go for under $5 when Walmart starts carrying them more regularly.

This has been my favorite thread so far, in 2013.

That is a nice pic, with the mini turtle next to the Lego turtle.

Octavio, I'll send you the ooze and canisters. You know I don't want your money... You probably keep it in your beard.
;)

As for the pricing, yeah, if Walmart gets these, there probably will be a $5 price point, which when you're trying to get four of them, will make a huge difference.

And, who wants to pay $16 for a stupid turtle toy? I don't get it. The guys that made that toy must be a bunch of money-grubbing dickheads.

$25+ for 4 of those turtles is a bit much. It could be worse. We'll see these on ebay soon with some jacked up BIN price. Just like when the SLUGs first started to appear.
