CRAZY SALE on AMAZON!  Nintendo is re-releasing a handful of titles on the Wii U, Wii and 3DS under their Nintendo Select banner for only $19.95 each.  HOWEVER, if you have a AMAZON PRIME account, they actually come out to

$16 EACH!

If you have a WII U and you never picked up PIKMIN 3, now is your chance to get it for $16.  It's a WONDERFUL game.

Personally, I'm thinking of getting MARIO WORLD 3D or DK COUNTRY: Tropical FREEZE.  For only $16 each, I figure why the hell not?!

Amazon preorder discounts are great.  Usually where I get most of my games new. I grabbed Zelda OOT for the 3ds.  Pikmin 3 is the only other one I don't have, but I've never playing any previous ones in the series.

I like all the Pimins, but the 3rd is my fav. It's a really pretty game... Perhaps a bit shorter than I would have liked, but worth it. I think I paid $35 when I picked it up. Worth every penny.

It is, by FAR, the best in the franchise.

For a game designed for kids, the first two are pretty unforgiving in terms of making sure each day was productive. Pikmin 3 allows you to have "bad" days and still complete the game.

Loved every minute of it!

And for my Canadian brethren: This deal is $29.99 on amazon.ca

GOOD CALL on the Canadian link, dude!!

What I love about the game is that it really feels unique in the ways that AAA Nintendo games do.  It's thoughtful and imaginative.  I love it. Although I have to admit, I still need to go back and buy the re-realeses of the first 2, because I think they would be awesome on the wii/wii u controls.

Mine were from the original Gamecube.

I hated the pointing around gimmick, to be honest. (But I've always hated the motion controls, to be fair.)

I just haven't tried them yet.  With the Wii U I used the gamepad, because it made the most sense with the map and everything.  From the videos that I have watched, it looked pretty intuitive with the Wiimote, but I speak from ignorance having not tried it out yet.

I wish they would do more Pikmin-centric Amiibos.  I'm wondering if they will if the rumored Pikmin 4 comes out.

They very well could have been, but like I said I just don't like the motion controls personally.

PIKMIN 4?!?
