Veers, on the criticism, not a problem... I would rather that, than be placed on a throne and worshiped.
I am training to be a graphic designer; an industry that deals heavily with criticism and making rationale
design decisions. It is good practice for me to be able to explain and support my creative work.
As for the port hole, good point. I could of also put more emphasis on the the ark body being sheet metal
rather than wood. Oh and I found some images that display port holes other than circular:
