Welcome to the 3rd annual design a custom Pirate Lion contest. The last two years have been very successful so I thought we'd keep it going. Review the last two contest threads here:

This year:

1. PM me if you want to participate. PM me your address.
2. I send you a Lion and $10 to cover supplies and return postage.
3. You customize the Lion any way you want.
4. Return the Lion back to me. Remember I keep all entries.
5. At the deadline I will post pictures of all the entries WITHOUT the names of the contestants. If you want to email me a photo to use I would be more than happy to post your photo to be voted on.
6. The board will vote on their top 3 favorite lions.
7. Prizes will be rewarded to the top 3 vote getters.
8. I will reveal who created which lion.

Prizes:

Grand Prize: A one of a kind Godbeast custom Pirate Lion! Designed especially for this contest.
2nd Place $30 cash
3rd Place $10 cash

Time Line:
PM your interest by May 15
Return Lion by June 30
Voting ends July 10.

If there are not at least 5 entries I will revise contest rules/prizes. Hopefully everyone from last year will enter again and new contestants as well.

Humm......You would have to do this contest when I am focusing on your other project for you. :) I don't know if I will have enough time to do this one this year. I have done both contests and enjoyed it very much.

I have to think about it. :D

I'm out this time, i think. Last year was fun, but mine ended up being kind of a catastrophe. I look forward to seeing the other entries though. :)

With all the talent and participation that we have been seeing in the fan art and custom contest thread, I am super STOKED to see your entries this time! I was talking to Cinder this morning when I went by for my Hako fix and he let me in on some of his ideas. :thumbsup:

Well, alright. Ya twisted my arm. But i want the dirtiest most busted up Lion you've got. The one i got last time could've gone on my shelf, i almost cried cutting him up. :)

Thanks everyone! We have 8 contestants now, and I'm waiting for a couple more PM responses. Lions will hit the mail on the 16th. I can also adjust the time line if anyone needs more time.

OK! I have just returned from a Florida vacation. Very nice, but I had 0 internet access so it's good to be back. I have received 4 AWESOME entries so far. Still waiting for 6 more. some from out of the country. If I don't get them by the 30th that's fine. I will be putting up pictures of the ones I have on the 30th though. I stated that voting ENDS on July 10th. That is going to change. Voting may not even begin until then.

I plan on having a small side contest as well. Once all the entries are in I want people to PM me who they believe did which custom. Open to anyone who wants to enter. More on this later. So keep those entries a secret.

OK! So those are the 4 I have right now. One is waiting at the post office and I'll get that one tomorrow. One person couldn't get working on his so he is going to enter it next year. So I am waiting for 4 more. Three of those four have let me know they should arrive soon. Once I have all nine voting will begin. Marty said the grand prize lion should be done this weekend so I am excited about showing that off!
