Anyone know more about stretchy Kinkeshi? I recently came across this guy in a lot of mixed figures. He is roughly the same size as a Musclemania figure, and about the same level of flexibility as the soft variety from that line.

Curiously, he carries not only the usual Y/SNT on his back, but also another TM with which I am not familiar:

MORINAGA? MOR NAGA?

Anyone else familiar with this variety of Kinkeshi?

I'm eagerly waiting for someone to answer your question... very curious myself.  My first response would have been a MUSCLEMANIA, but then the markings on the back show that it isn't.  I wonder if Nilla would know?

I remember that thread now. What a mess!

Whenever I have figures that I suspect will degrade in such a way, I store them in individual bags. Even if they are going to break down on their own, they will at least be separated from other figures.

In fact, I have two other stretchy Kinkeshi that were fairly degraded when I first got them, but have not gotten any worse being stored this way for the last ten years.

These two other figures are much smaller than the Morinaga figure, and are clear:

I cannot discern any visible TM on either of these. I always assumed that they were bootlegs, but I could be wrong.
