I'm five figures away from completing my flesh set and now it's time to let the duplicates move along to someone else's set.

Has anyone seen a difference in the sell rate of large versus small lots or is it totally dependent upon the whims of the consumer, and what figures they are looking for at the time?

BTW - I'm looking for 036, 050, 098, 151, and surprise! 236

I think it is always going to be inconsistent. It all depends on what is there and what is needed by each individual. When shopping larger lots, I will not go over .50 cents a figure, but if I found a large lot that had a high ratio of figures I needed, I would possibly go with a larger number. Of course this is dependent on my funds at the time too. You would probably make the most money selling each figure individually, but this would also take a very long time. Honestly I think your best bet is to post them here. Set a flat rate as to what you expect per figure (possibly be open to trades as well to get you those last 6 figures you need, or possibly something else you want to collect); That way you could likely sell them much quicker to a few individuals that need certain figures, and avoid ebay fees. This method could possibly net you more money too. I know that I still need plenty of flesh figures, and I prefer buying them on here if and when I can, so that I can avoid getting duplicates and help support fellow collectors.

Depends in my oppinion if your figs are rare or common. All common fig -lots just dont sell unless theres a rare fig stashed away in the lot, though the size still must be right(if ony one rare id put that and 20 others). Though i do not know whether muscle has really common figs that no one wants. But if you think all will sell and you have lots of time individual auctions for all figs would give good results..

My only experience is on FoP and this is how i would sell em. This is how i see being best way if you want to get rid of all of em

Also not gona comment on the best price cause the post above got that covered...

Small groups of around 20 with lots of clear pictures showing that they are in clean and good condition will always bring in more $$. Especially if the figures look shinney and new.

TMAN is absolutely correct.  I started selling off my figures in lots of 50 and 100 and was only getting between $.50-$.65 a figure.  When I switched over to lots of between 15 and 20 I noticed I was averaging closer to $.80-$1.00 per figure.  Small flesh lots have been doing really well for me lately, there must be a lot of people working on Flesh sets at the moment!  Also, clear, appealing pictures is really important for getting higher prices on figures.
