It appears that "Modern Woman Digest", where the story originated, is a spoof site. I must confess, it took me a few minutes to realise, and it clearly fooled Infowars, although that's probably not hard. This would appear to be an excellent example of Poe's Law.

There's nothing more painful than watching someone fall for something posted on Play4Real where video games are concerned, or The Onion for anything at all, which makes it all the sillier to have fallen for Modern Woman Digest's reporting myself.
