These existed in early to mid 80's. After scouring the internet, no answers. I sketched the only two that I can remember. They had a funny smell and names like "rotten eggs". They were similar in size and style to Glow Ghosts, as they were hollow and soft. If anybody can identify these, it would be funny to see how accurate my sketches were... after my memory was distorted by 25 years. Thanks!

I remember having a creature like the one on the left when I was a kid; I got it at a Chuck E Cheese's resturant.

I don't have any additional information on them, though. I just recognise it. They may simply be cheap 'party favor' kinds of things.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I vaguely remember them coming in individual (Boglins style) boxes, so I am inclined to think that they were part of a series. I am sure that they had gross sounding names, and that also leads me to believe that it was more than a party favor type cheap toy.

The one on the right could be Slobster from The Boglins. How large were they?

Aha! I have that pink one on the right - seems that's where he comes from? Doesn't smell of anything in particular, mind - just dust and loneliness.

It's kind of hard to remember. I know I got them sometime in the 80's and they came carded. They are only about 3-4 inches tall

Thanks, Tarkin. That is a major breakthrough in knowing I'm not imagining things.
I had the pink one and I forgot about it completely. There are still some missing,
because I remember the purple one (not pictured) best.

Btw, do they say anything on the bottom? Any manufacturer's info, dates or other clues?

I remember having a couple of these when I was a kid.
They were sold in the dollar store.
It was indeed a set of 6.
They came single carded. All 6 were pictured on the back.

I have the 5 figures that are in the picture. I was curious about selling them but I really would like to know the name of them first before I just get rid of them.

I realize I am bumping an old thread but I have additional information to add here.
I found this article
http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1915&dat=19841211&id=uzdSAAAAIBAJ&sjid=XjYNAAAAIBAJ&pg=5587,2329465
According to the information here they were made by "Multi Toy Corp".
The 6th characters name was Bad Breath.
