Not trying to replace Forever Yes with this. Just wanted to add something new that never has a lull between contests.

Rules:

  1. Post a picture of the prize package you will give away in your own contest if you win.
  2. If you are declared the winner, PM me your address after starting your own contest thread with the prize package that you posted here.
  3. Winner of this contest will be the prize package with the highest number of up votes. Board members can up vote as many prize packages as they want. Do not down vote any prize package.
  • Contest ends 9/15/15. I will ship quickly and PM the winner with the tracking # (you don't have to worry that you might give away free toys before receiving your free toys).
  • Future contests must include rules 1 and 2 above. Length of contest and how to determine the winner is up to future contest holders.

Here is what you get if you win:

Gonna be some competition on this one fellas; bring your A-game!

I love the idea of people "bidding" for the prize package with their own prize package, that's an excellent dynamic :)

One question though; if one were to win would it be within reason to exclude intl shipping in the subsequent contest, or maybe include a clause for some sort of shipping compensation percentage if the winner is non domestic?

I hate to ask because I know it's not really in the nature of the contest, but I've run two contests of my own previously where I allowed multiple winners and ended up sending prizes to intl members. It cost around $30 per contest to ship everything out as a result, not considering the actual prizes themselves.

I just have a lot of stuff I'd like to offer as prizes and would like to be able to offer more if intl shipping weren't a factor (considering I can send 4-5lbs worth of toys to someone in the US for the same expense as say, 10oz to somewhere in EU).

Good question. Maybe people can put a disclaimer above their prize package here if they want split the cost of international shipping (or whatever they think is fair) if the winner of the subsequent contest is in a different country. The shipping disclaimer might result in less up votes, but at least you are up front about wanting some international shipping compensation. I think that's reasonable if people are offering up an obviously heavy prize package.

Thanks. It's going swimmingly so far.

I kind of figured maybe everyone was waiting for the last day so that someone doesn't see what they put up as their prize pack, and decide to either drop out because what they put up was so good, or one up them by making a much larger better package of stuff. Maybe if you had them PM you their picture and you post them up at the end to be voted on or something, or just pick one yourself based on the pics you got? Idk...or maybe contests are dead on here. It's a shame if that is the case.

I figure the longer a prize pic in the thread, the more time it has to receive some votes. Waiting until the end doesn't make much sense. I'll stick with the original rules and maybe things will pick up over the next week.

The neverending contest has ended. Sorry if the prize was the reason for the lack of interest.

Well I thought it was a cool idea anyway. I only didn't enter because I have most of the stuff in the picture already.
