Hey all, hope you don't mind if I access your collective expertise.

I'm a collector of non-rubber minis, and MUSCLE men lie a little outside my knowledge base. I've got a handful (22) MUSCLE men from my childhood, massively played with, but all in good condition, kept in a plastic tub for the last thirty years.

I don't know their provenance, except that they were bought in the UK, and all part of the same box.

I've had a good luck at the stickied threads, and doesn't seem to me like there's anything special here, but I would be grateful if you could confirm it for me.

All are flesh-coloured, and I gather from the fora that means they're probably not anything of note, but I would love to know what I already have.

Using this thread here I've made the following IDs:
http://www.littlerub...howtopic=269518

Row 1:
1st
2nd: 120 Sabotenman
3rd: 128 Smileman
4th
5th
6th: 144 Mr. America

Row 2:
1st: 183 Pinchman
2nd: 202 Strongman
3rd: 216 The Ninja - C
4th
5th: 114 Pandaman
6th

Row 3:
1st: 203 Cannon Baller
2nd: 92 Akuma Kishi
3rd: 89 Watchman
4th
5th: 105 Buffaloman - D

Row 4:
1st: 112 Sunnigator
2nd: 47 Linchou
3rd
4th: 45 Springman
5th: 201 King The Tons - B

If anyone can identify the remaining, I'd be grateful. I can see the general goal is to find sculpts that haven't been found before, so eliminating those that have seems a sensible place to start.

Thanks for your help, fellow collector-fanatics!

Thanks, I think I've IDed them all.

So basically nothing special, that's what I thought.

I believe so, but I was a kid at the time. I can barely remember what I had for breakfast.

There's 22 there, and I think I've painted about six of them, so that sounds about right.

Funny thing is that in the absence of provided names me and my brother named them all ourselves, and those names stick in my memory like glue.

Like the astronaut guy at the start of the third row, in our innocence we called him "crackhead", because his helmet was cracked.

And there was one that looked like a chess pawn with japanese writing on his chest, so naturally we called him "Japanese Pawn". :D

We had a good laugh about that, years later.

Hey do you guys want to see the painted ones? I can dig 'em out and photo em. I hadn't done so till now, on the worry that rubber-dude purists might see such things as "ruining" the figure.

Cool!

The scanned pictures are a bit enormous when I post them here, so here's the links to their coolminiornot gallery pages.
