Hello,

I wanted to let some of you know about a playset offered on KB Toys right now that I thought would work pretty well as a larger base/fortress for Battle Beasts. They are on sale for 9.97 including free shipping, which is a great bargain considering they originally sold for 39.99. It's a GI Joe base, but should work pretty well, especially for the price. One would just have to remove any Cobra and GI Joe ensignia.

The scale is slightly off, but I think it would work in most places. I just think the larger scale of it will just add a bit of an epic quality to it, like the larger doors would be massive metal doors made to keep out unwanted intruders, etc....

Well, here's the link if you are interested, as I know I have heard a few people desiring larger bases than just the shark base, etc...

that is pretty cool (personally, I'd leave Cobra Commander on it). I think I need the more classy approach of glass diplay cases though. Chicks coming into your apartment can respect that. If you have NOTHING but toys on top of toys laying about....they tend to high tail outta there.

Unless of course you get 'em drink'in. Then they end up in Mybedsville.

Hey
Nice price on the Crimson attack tanks as well, too bad I live in Canada. KB won't ship up here.

I may just have to get that playset and see how it looks. It would make a great opening to the "sunburst arena" playset that we have been throwing around on the fanart section. It's big for Battle Beasts, but as a "sunburst arena" it would look grand and awesome to the beasts which is what you want. Plus it has a perfect blend of technology and natural aspects. Right above the door where the gi joe sticker is would be perfect for the three symbol sticker like the one on the Battle Beast bases.

The more I think about it.....the more I think it would work. I think I just talked myself into getting it!!!
