I was just re-cataloguing my Gormiti with the help of the checklists (thanks for those, Strontium Dog). I realized I have two who don't seem to be in the right colors for any checklist. The figures were distributed in at least two sets, but neither time does the checklist show them looking like this. My best guess was that they're from Final Evolution. Does anyone know?

They're color variations that were exclusive to the US releases of the larger magnetic action figures of the Series 1/Energheia tribe leaders.

It's a very cool alternate color set, especially the ones that are more different than the fake-Atomic colors the rest of US Series 1 used. Lavion in particular is my favorite. I've wanted to track down the set for a while but never got around to it.

The images are from an Italian collector's blog. I noticed that the larger figures are not magnetic though - just little plug joints.

Is this the only US exclusive release?

I have always wanted to pursue Gormiti because the sculpts are so interesting, but I have been rather intimidated.  There are just so many series and variants and only two Series that were released in the US, if I am correct.  One of the many frustrations of a completist -- knowing that it would be extremely expensive if not completely impossible to track down the international sets.

I should at least complete the Series 1 and Series 2 US versions.  I am probably 85-90% there.  I know I am missing the ones that you had to get in the 4- or 5-packs.  The ones I have are from 2-packs.  And then there are these 6 variants that I can probably do without.

The US action figures might not be magnetic like some of the European series had with their action figures, I just knew there was definitely parts-swapping as part of their play pattern.

Nearly all of the variant figures in US Series 1 are totally unique simply by virtue of being "gimmickless". They were all made of standard plastics, unlike in the Italian line where all Atomic and redeco-Final Evolution figures had a color changing gimmick of some kind. The two exceptions are that the Air and Forest Tribes didn't actually do anything, so the US versions aren't missing anything in comparison. The only other redecos that appeared in US Series 1 were a couple of gold figures in the playsets, and I think the gold Fiery Angel may have been unique to that release, but that would've been the only entirely unique one.

I think other than these six repainted Lords (some of my favourite figures of all-time), the only other significant US-exclusive Gormiti were the gold repaints of Brags and Magitronco with the Volcano and Forest pop-up playsets.

If anyone is looking for the 6 US variants mentioned above, in about a week or so I'll be putting a large lot of Gormiti up on eBay with all 6 of them included among dozens of others. I'll post in the Got Toys section here with a link to my listings when everything is posted. Tentatively thinking the auctions will go live on 5/10, ending 5/17. Thanks!
