Does anyone own or have any experience with one of these Sega Genesis consoles with built in games? This was my favorite gaming system growing up but like a dummy I sold mine. This seems like the cheapest route to obtain and play some of my favorite childhood games.

I was at a local antique shop and saw one of these. I almost bought it, left, went home and thought about it. Went back a couple days later to get it and it was gone. The thing was almost brand new and had the cord, which seems rare for this model. It was also cheap at $20. My girlfriend and I love vintage, deco kitchen stuff and are trying to recreate that 50s-60's kitchen look. I still regret not getting it and hope to get a clean, functional one some day.

This would be a lot of fun. I have recently got back into models and this would be a joy to put together.

Check your local Target stores. The one I work for don't sell them ATM, but we did not to long ago. I'm pretty sure those were going for $40. You might get lucky enough to find one on clearance.

I'd be interested in finding out what the purple mouse-thing is.

The purple dude with a skullface is Skullgrin, a Transformers Pretender.

I am reasonably certain the black/pink guy is from Power Rangers.

The black/white cat with the shoulder pads is from Earthworm Jim.

The mouse thing is power rangers as for those mutli game genesis models have one big flaw they have really poor sound emulation all the sound is at a different tone if it's begin run though the system itself or from a actual game cartridge and Virtua Racing will not work on them due to special cart it used.

I have the original x-box modified and filled with SNES and Genesis games and it works great. With the component video output the games look smooth and the controller is much more comfortable than the original console version. With a few thousand games installed, I payed $70.

I bought a ZOIDS model a couple weeks back, and I finally built it earlier in the week. It was a blast, and I want more, but it turns out they're really expensive.

But I'll be damned if I don't want a super turtle.

If you have ever seen some of my trade threads or other general conversations you have seen I also collect ballpoint pens.

This is perhaps the "Holy Grail" of colors for the Paper Mate Malibu - at least for normal production pens. (There is a VERY rare clear salesmen sample pen designed to show the inner workings). This is perhaps my absolute favorite vintage pen line, or at least top 3.

Someday it will be mine!

Because I am a nerd (& a biologist by trade) I look at birds ALOT.  And good binoculars help.  This is the next upgrade I hope to purchase whence all the stars align in my favor.

I am reasonably certain the black/pink guy is from Power Rangers.

The black/white cat with the shoulder pads is from Earthworm Jim.

The two monsters flanking Skullgrin are both Power Rangers figures. At left is the guitar-playing cicada Guitardo, and the other is Rhinoblaster.

I don't actually want the figure I'm linking... but that's because it's close, but not the same as, what I actually want. http://www.ebay.com/...n-/222107409320 The exact Gormiti figure I desire is the alternate version that was released in the US, but "fake Final Evolution" Insecticus was part of the much rarer Series 1 Wave 2 and ended up the sole two-pack I never actually purchased. I'd love to come to some kind of completion with US Series 1 Gormiti, but for a couple years now this sole figure has ensured I can't make that happen.
