I recently got this gashapon set (if you can call it one?) off of eBay, mainly out of pure curiosity! I've never seen any info or documentation of this gashapon series, as most Gen 1 era (late 90's to early 00's) gashapon series were mainly keychains, mini plushies, and Full Color Stadium figures. Here's a look at the can I got + some close ups of the paper list insert, and the mini keshi themselves!

I unfortunately can't read the text, but I can ASSUME it says that there's five cans to collect OR five figures in each can, and there's 19 figures to collect! I have no idea if each can has a single GID figure guaranteed, I can only assume it could be randomly inserted.

There's the back of the paper, I think it might have some info on the set? I'm unsure if scanning it with google translate will work, at least it shows a neat illustration on the can and a GID Charmander!

The GID figure I got, Meowth! The ONLY figure to be 100% mint and intact, the rest are all broken (and crusty feeling?)

The other two Meowths I got, both in yellow (which is perfect!) but unfortunately both have some degree of broken whiskers, snapped off tail ends, and one has a broken foot

Probably my second fav figure in the lot a red Electabuzz! He has a snapped off tail end and a broken toe..... Still looks sick as hell though, I always loved the Elekid line so I'm very happy to have such a small yet neatly detailed figure!!!

The last and sadly the most beat up one, a green Wigglytuff Looks like they not only have both of their ears and a foot snapped off, but also a punctured lung! At least the face is still very cute, and I'm overall very impressed how all of them look on-model for the time!
My main questions are the following though:
1. Can anyone confirm what are all 19(?) designs in the set? And how many colors were made, I can see that black/blue is on the paper list picture, along with red, yellow, light green, and GID pink.
2. How many can designs there truly are? I don't think it's five, looks like they're just the three final evolutions of the Kanto starter trio.
3. What material are these made out of? The broken solid color figures have a odd 'crusty' feeling to them and they feel hard and 'full'. The GID figure feels MUCH lighter in comparison, and even hollow-ish? I can only guess the solid color figures are very old rubber and the GID figures are a type of colored clear resin (please correct me if you know better!)
4. Along with this series, is there other mini keshi sets for Pokemon? I've seen some larger keshi since gen 1 all the way to gen 6 (XY era, they were sold in pokeballs with mons like Pikachu, Pancham, Hoopa, etc. I'm unsure if they made more keshi after gen 7, Alola era) but this is the only time I've seen mini keshi for the franchise!
Any help or further info on these lil can guys will be EXTREMELY appreciated, you can also DM me on insta for more quick responses from me! (username is the same as on here, Rejectclone!)
