Spider
I put the hour glass just below the place for the element sticker. I wanted it lower but this was the best to get it to look good.
Giraffe
The color I used isn't quite right, he is a little too yellow still. Next time I will use more of a tan.
This one is my personal favorite now!!
BALD EAGLE
All three:

Wow, I'm surprised to see that the giraffe is a favorite! I don't care so much for it because it turned out so yellow! (that is not the regular yellow plastic, it is painted "straw yellow")
My next giraffe will have an undercoat much like the color of his face, then have lighter shading done. I also will have more of patches of brown, rather than spots. I tried to stick with the spots that are molded in the plastic, but I like patches better with just lines of tan showing through.
That will have to wait though, I have some other stuff to work on now that the Bald Eagle has been done.
By the way, the Spider's fangs glow in the dark!

I would think that it would be best to have a helmet looking paint job, but really what I was trying to do was make a copy of Modpodcrazy's painted face Toad "variant". It was a fun little debate over the authenticity of this painted Toad, so I made my own to remember it by!the toad should have the back of the head painted, not only the front, like he has an helmet.
I coppied the pics of this "variant" as closely as possible. I was even able to partially replicate the lifting marks under the right eye of modpodcrazy's toad!
It is just for fun though, just something for my collection to look at and get a little chuckle now and then.
