No idea, none whatsoever, but they've been in the Toy Identification board on at least two other occassions. Would love to get them, but they're not shipping to the UK :(

Actually the "fine" print says:

I will ship Internationally IF you contact me first and IF you are happy to pay for FULLY INSURED TRACKABLE INSURANCE, this is not cheap, so please keep this in mind!

It's really funny to find this here, because I was JUST about to post a photo of these monsters from my collection to see if anyone knew what they were. Mine are all dark red, hard plastic. I believe I won them in an eBay auction many years ago. They're really cool, but I've never been able to determine what they are. I hope someone can solve the mystery!

I came across this auction as well. I scored a set of them on ebay a year or two ago and I would also love to know what the heck they are.

For what it's worth, I got several of these guys mixed into a bulk grab-bag from Accoutrements/Archie McPhee around 1992. While not everything they carry winds up in their catalogs, it might be worthwhile to check their catalogs of the late '80s/early '90s. I'm pretty sure that they weren't offered wholesale by that point, but I wasn't getting the retail catalogs, so they may well have still been listed then.

So...
How can I get some of these? Everytime they pop up on eBay, it's USA only (which is mildly upsetting).

I just realized I had two more sculpts of these - a green two-headed mummy and a blue hunchback guy. I didn't originally think they were part of the same set since the 10 I posted the picture of were all red and these were blue/green, but I found a previous post that had them pictured with some of the others. I took a closer look at them and they are definitely all part of the same set. So, I wonder if these 12 sculpts are the complete set or if there are more?

An auction just ended for a sealed package of these monsters. Came with a haunted tree, pretty rad:

http://www.ebay.com/...=item1c23da5c2e

I gave it a go, but didn't win. Kinda bummed. At least now we know what they are--"Monsters and Goblins" by Fishel.

I wonder if the person who won them is on here. I really wanted them but I couldn't afford to bid that high (plus I already have a loose set so I couldn't justify it).

What I love about these is how crazy and bizarre some of the sculpts are. I am taking some nice pics of mine that I am going to include on a website I'm currently setting up of my minifigure collection. I'll post the link when it's ready. Here's one of them:

I am going to hang onto mine for now since I just have one of each figure, but I'll be keeping my eyes out for more of these and if I come across any extras I'd definitely be willing to trade them.
