good post.
i definitely find the Korean famicom interesting.
a while back i really got into Japanese Famicom titles. I even made myself my own converter using an old gyromite cart with the converter in it.
when i was young my favorite arcade games was the Goonies and when i finally got my Goonies II cart i couldn;t believe what i was playing, it was terrible. long story short about 25 years later i found out they made that and one of my other favorite arcade titles (Yie Ar Kung Fu) for famicom.
after that i was hooked. i even got into some PAL (Smurfs, Ghostbusters, Dragonball, etc..) and found out how to clip the pin in my NES that locked these PAL titles out.
the Ghostbusters game is amazing and im not sure how it never found it's way to the States.
outside of Goonies my favorite Japanese find has to be the Transformers game, PSYCHE! it's definitely the sports games that were made by the company that made one of my all-time NES favorites Dodgeball. Ice Hockey is great.
