This is something I've wanted to make for years. It's one of those things that is so iconic it's spawned countless versions and stories and songs and movies so the actual source material itself gets forgotten. The true origin of a wish granting moneky's paw was a brilliant short story written well over 100 years ago. The reason so many versions of that story keep getting retold is because it's passed it's copyright date and it has been public domain for a long time. It's inspired so many things from Tales of the Crypt to the Twilight Zone and The Simpsons and Rick and Morty. Even Stephen King admits that Pet Sematary was his rip-off of the original short story.
As usual there won't be any images of the actual sculpt shared until people start getting the packages in the mail but I will say that it's about 3 inches tall and no effort was spared in the sculpting itself. I loved the idea so much that I put a couple of months into the design and sculpt until I didn't think I could do any better. Also the color is inspired by the infamous purple muscle claw which I thought would be a fun nod to LRG itself.
They go on sale tomorrow with all the new colors of the previous releases but for pretty much everything in stock this time it will be while supplies last. Don't worry though there will be plenty to go around and anyone who wants one should be able to get it in the first couple weeks or so.
