Hi guys. I just thought of something yesterday...Last night actually. A M.U.S.C.L.E. that never was...But should have been. Now we all know how wacky and wonderful the Kinnukiman/M.U.S.C.L.E. characters are. That's part of the charm actually, at least for me. And hearkens back to a simpler time when kids had to have a little imagination instead of all the electronic gadgetry they have nowadays. This little guy I dreamed up would have been one of the "cylindrical" characters, of which there were few. He would of been a play on the only "barrel" character which was Oilman. Only this little guy would have been named "Kegman" he would have been a fat, rotund little wooden barrel, with a smaller "keg" for a head, with similar "eyes" as Oilman, or maybe like Puyo's eyes. He would have been sculpted in the same M.U.S.C.L.E. PVC that they all were of course, but would have a wood grain finish/texture. And little lines molded to look like planks held together, and "bands" to represent the metal bands that hold a wooden barrel together. He'd also have a little drain tap/spigot on him, maybe for his nose  He'd basically look as much like a wine barrel with a smaller wooden keg for a head, as Oilman looks like a 55 gallon steel drum with a smaller steel drum for a head. Some of the guys making new M.U.S.C.L.E. lines (Super 7) etc. should consider making this idea a reality. Or maybe I should :unknw:

Sounds awesome.

I know there's a bootleg keshi with the word "beer" on it. Its been ages so I don't remember how it looks like. Maybe a keg like figure? Or was it a mug?

OK guys, I'm gonna try to modify an existing M.U.S.C.L.E. fig to make "Kegman" a reality. The candidate for this "disfigurement" is going to be either Spray Maijin, Paper Miira, or Puyo Puyo. Springman might even work, but would need extensive modification. I might even make him out of wood. If any one has any other ideas, feel free to chime in. I'll post the results when I get done.

Alright, on second thought, I think I'll go ahead and make him out of wood. On further examination and thought, none of the existing "cylindrical" shaped M.U.S.C.L.E.s are gonna work very good seeing as their not quite the right shape and too much of a hack job will ruin them  I can take a piece of wood...Dowel rod the proper size would be the best for this project...And shape it to the right size, then engrave the rings, lines etc. with the tiny engraver I have. Then make some little arms and legs and attach them. And as promised, I'll post the results

Military model kits might be useful in your endeour, too. sometimes, the soldier kits have things like oil drums. might make a good basis for a body. would probably have some usable limbs, too.

Good news guys...I got 2 little wooden doll house miniature barrels on E-bay. For cheap too :woot: just 7/8ths of an inch tall, so "Kegman" will probably be M.U.S.C.L.E. size too. What do you all think I should with the second barrel? Make Kegman a brother, or have it be the barrel he rolls around? Either way, hes going to be a reality soon enough  I'll keep y'all posted.

OK guys, it may take a while, but Kegman is gonna be made for sure. The barrels I got I wasn't really satisfied with, so I got better ones instead. As soon as they arrive, I'm gonna get on it and make Kegman. As soon as I'm finished, I'll post pics here as well as in the customs section.

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone is still following this thread, but Kegman is finally done. Had to put him on hold for a while, but finally got him made last night. I think he turned out pretty good. Will put him up on the customs section too, so no one will miss out on seeing him.
