I might as well be the one who starts this thread - full premium set, UK-based:

http://pages.ebay.co...lobalID=EBAY-GB

If someone here wins, then all I want are the lime green premium Ghost and Cerberus. Pointless me bidding though as I don't want the rest.

The seller - who I can't work out from their eBay name, even though I think I've seen/dealt with before - seems to have been dealing a lot with good ol' Mike, according to their feedback anyways.

Worth having a sweepsteak on the end price!? I don't even want to hazard a guess - it literally could be anything... But I do want those lime greens :) :) :)

Hi all, just listed my complete set of series one premium figures on eBay. Really curious to know what they might be worth. Any ideas?

I thought it was you pal - but wasn't sure. Knew I recognised the name somewhere at the back of my mind! As I said in my sightings thread, it could be anything. Any reason you're selling them in particular? Do you actually plan on selling them, or are you just testing the waters, considering you're asking us what we think they're worth, but you have a 'reserve' on them anyways?

Hmm I have no idea where this might end price-wise. All I know is I REALLY want that blue Cyclops. Can't see myself going after this entire lot though as I only need a few.

The more common ones usually 10-15 each, the series 2 replacements a good amount more and the arcade ones the most, but kind of a crapshoot for the rarer ones, I'd say. Selling in a big lot like this tends to bring in less money than selling individually.

I wish you were selling that blue Cyclops by itself! It's the only arcade figure I still need.

Can you PM me the link I don't see them. I would be interested in some individual purchases if you have what I need. I think you will lose money big time selling them as a lot.

I found the link on ebay.uk doesnt show up in US. You have all the figure that I need in that lot. If you decide to sell off some I would be interested.

I need:

·         Pine Behemoth

·         Cyan Cyclops

·         Neon Orange Kraken

·         Cyan Mummy

·         Magenta Ghost

Hi guys, yes have a very chunky reserve on the lot because I don't really want to sell them. Might change my mind though depending on what kind of offers I get. Just curious coz it is so rare to have them all in one lot. At least we will have an idea of a rough value after this. Not sure how to send the link but it's on UK eBay. A search for monster in my pocket premium should find it!

What a wonderful collection, one that is worth a lot more then what it would get in an eBay auction. I think you could get 3-4 times more by splitting it up, although I get the feeling you wouldn't really part with it either way haha

If you are selling up though and you start breaking it up the 2nd series ghost and cerberus premiums would snag a fair price. I myself have been on the lookout for just over 2 years and these are the only ones I have seen pop up on eBay!! Let me know if you are keen to get rid of them :-)

There is a Pink Ghost and Cerberus on ebay.co.UK at the moment. I've started a thread in the sightings section.
I have always wanted to know how much a set of premiums would fetch.

Can you PM me the pink ghost auction if it is still there? I check every day and can't believe I missed it. Heading over to take a look now; but if you see it again let me know please. Thanks.

It's easy to miss auctions that are UK-based only if you're in the US, as they don't show up in searches. Same the other way round too. I always have my settings changed to 'worldwide' to try and cast the biggest net.

Hi guys, yes have a very chunky reserve on the lot because I don't really want to sell them. Might change my mind though depending on what kind of offers I get. As for this auction, I can echo what others are saying in that you'd achieve a higher price if you sold individually. As I mentioned in the other thread, I noticed you've been dealing with Mike, so possiblly got some raw deals - if you're not fussed about the money though, then I'm sure you won't mind what the final value comes to as one entire lot rather than individual ones.

If you are selling up though and you start breaking it up the 2nd series ghost and cerberus premiums would snag a fair price. I myself have been on the lookout for just over 2 years and these are the only ones I have seen pop up on eBay!! Let me know if you are keen to get rid of them :-)

They've actually come up more than you think, so you must've missed them bud. I purchased my pink pair that I kept, at a similar time to the green pair I purchased for a fellow member here. Then the green came up again and I bid, but another guy I know bid a very high price and beat me. Now there's some more pinks up. Previous to all this, there were approximately two of each pink and green pairs that hold sold in the completed listings - all UK-based obviously.

Not sure if this will reach a true value as some bidders might refrain from bidding, knowing it's pretty much a 'what's it with?' listing.

Yeah, I didn't view it as a serious auction. Just a waste of everyone's time.

I'll just copy and paste what I put in the sightings thread:

Not sure if this will reach a true value as some bidders might refrain from bidding, knowing it's pretty much a 'what's it worth?' listing.

The reasons of so low bidding are two in my opinion:
Summer time and too many valuable figures all together.
Maybe splitting them in separated lots can give you more chances to sell 'em better.

I merged the two threads.

Maybe splitting them in separated lots can give you more chances to sell 'em better.

Like he said, he doesn't really want to sell them, it was just testing the water.

The problem is, when people know you don't really want to sell, then they don't bother bidding.

What was the point of it all? Who can say.
