You decided the tail would be part of the legs instead of a separate piece like on the scorpion?

I believe it is going to be a seperate piece from what I have read somewhere else. These 3D renders do not have the cuts made in the model yet to produce the joints. I am pretty sure that the layout of the lizard will be the same as the scorpion.

And I am loving the look of tha lizard. He looked good before, but that tail really makes a huge difference. Makes him look less draconian and more like a lizard man warrior. The ant still creeps me out. Theres just something about that face thats a bit unnerving. In a good way...

No, the tail will definitely be separate. But the top of the tail can't go above the waist joint.

No, not this incarnation at least. But it will be something we test out for sure.

Some adjustments for the Ant and Lizard.

Thicker antennae, but not too thick:

Possibly the final version of the tail for the lizard.

We shall see when the master prototypes get to the factory.

All those details on the ants are incredible!

And nice tail! You can cut it off and it'll always grow back! :p

I want to finally chime in and say how GREAT these figures are.

For some reason I was underwhelmed when they first debuted, but then when I saw the upcoming sculpts, I got pretty excited and ordered the standard rhino and scorpion and a flesh of each. But once I got them in hand... They are so much fun. I keep going back and ordering more in the different color schemes.

I am super stoked about these guys. Jon, I hope you can continue to make these for a long time and create a ton of different beasts.

Can't wait for the weapons either.

As far as suggestions go, as a few others have mentioned, I would love to see classic battle beast color schemes on some of these guys. I also hope you will always make a flesh version available for each new beast.

Thanks again for these!

Thanks Vaal!

Glad you love them! Flesh is definitely a mainstay for each character, as well as gold and a couple painted variations. We are also hoping for all of them in GITD once more characters are done.

BB Homages for sure. One of the paint schemes for the Lion will be the Pirate Lion colors. Ditto on the Ape having the Gargantuan Gorilla colors.

You know it just occured to me that the army green Rhino could be construed as a Rocksteady hommage... now we need a Warthog guy with sunglasses to be released in violet armor for Bebop...
