alright... these guys go with the whole new "spy troops" thing hasbro's doing.
and in the spirit of getting down to brass tacks... the 'spy troop' concept sucks. it's stupid, and i hate it. (suprise, suprise...i hate something...)
but, when you get down to what's important... the actual figures, the sculpting's pretty fresh. the articulation of recondo actually suprised me, because on top of the standard g.i.joe articulation... h e's got swivles at the calves, and swivels at the wrists as well.
the paint is applied pretty even on both of the figures, and the iron grenadier looks like he's about fit to be tied.
out of ten, i give the sculpting a 9.1
paint is an 8.
accessories, are the downfall though, because all in all, they are useless.
i'm giving accessories a 5, and only because the iron grenadier's helmet is f'n sweet.
(bonus points go out to a better packaging job, than g.i. joe v.s. cobra.)
all and all it's a good toy to get if you like g.i. joes, and intend on playing with them.
over all, on the hatemonger scale of toy-coolness, it gets a 8.9/10.
and at least it's not g.i. joe extreme...
