*Trying to forget how cool they look*

The series 1 commercial had me at hello.

Goo on top of plastic figures with squishy monsters inside... sold.

Anyone have any idea where to get these? All of my searches turn up fruitless.

I bought a box of Mutation edition from this seller on ebay: Virus Attack Mutation edition on ebay

Took about 2 weeks to receive it. He was offering free shipping when I got it. I got it for around $50 shipped. If you watch the listing, you'll see it discounted pretty often.

The box comes with all 12 of the Mutation figures. No doubles.

Did these ever get a wider distribution?

Assuming since the last post about this looks like it was almost 2 years ago and nobody has said anything about it since then.....I would say that's a negative on wider distribution.

I found the 4 packs and a vehicle in the clearance shops here in the UK, which is odd as they never appeared in the toy stores.

Never saw the 4 packs in stores in my area but did the vehicle in a pound world . Got three of them though 1 I was payed back because family wanted it to send it to a gift to a relative. Though pound world some how also got in all the Toy story Squinkies which was never in any UK stores either.

There's a couple specific figures I'd like if anyone has them....the tall thin virus with branch-like arms and the squat green bug one with the big nose, for instance.

They seem to have been bargain-bin items in the UK for some time, but it looks almost impossible to find them online to buy if you're in the U.S....unless you like an $80 shipping cost for $5 worth of figures

Thought they were all gone! I messaged you.

One thing I was never clear on - are the removable skins actually "sticky" rubber, or just very soft and stretchy?

Aw, that's a shame. That always deteriorates when displayed in the open....guess they could be put in little glass jars or something, though.
